The developer’s reply implied that they will help resolve the billing issue. It’s a lie. Continued followup with their “support” continued to refuse refund. My credit card overturned the charge but Menletics are scum.

Signed up for a 4 week program based on the pretty advertising for a one off payment of $15.. got billed $148 for the next WEEKs access.

Definitely appears to be the business model here.

Cette application est payante et fonctionne avec abonnement interne, sans passer par Apple. Le prix passe à 89€ pour 4 semaines au bout d’un mois et c’est beaucoup trop cher par rapport à ce qui est proposé ! Si on ajoute les bug, les exercices aux noms qui ne correspondent pas. On ne peut même pas modifier la musique qui est toujours la même !

C’est une arnaque vous essayez pendant 4 semaines en payant moins de 20€, mais après ils vous prélèvent 90€ par mois sans prévenir de quoi que ce soit!
Quand on lit les petites lignes on apprend que la première souscription vaut abonnement et ils arrivent à prélever par PayPal alors même que ce n’est pas dans mes abonnements autorisés de PayPal

Ils ne sont là que pour vous débiter. Les conditions sont en anglais, et aucun moyen voyant sur l’application pour se desinscrire, de plus , une fois abonné, tout le reste de l’application est payant en supplément !

Terrible Billing Experience

I can see from the reviews that I’m clearly not the only person who has experienced this. I signed up expecting to pay for a one-month plan, but I was unexpectedly charged almost €90 without any clear explanation.

What makes this even worse is how confusing the app is. There is no obvious place where you can see what subscription you have, whether it renews automatically, or how to manage or cancel it. I searched through the app and couldn’t find any transparent billing or subscription information.

In my opinion, charging almost €90 per month for this type of service is completely unreasonable. For that price, you can get a membership at many excellent gyms with real equipment and trainers.

I am extremely disappointed with the company’s billing policy and the lack of transparency. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this app to anyone. If you’re reading these reviews, be very careful before entering your payment details.

Wurde gleich ein lebenslanges Abo hinzugebucht so dass dann gleich ca 100€ fällig waren. Mal sehen was der Verbraucherschutz zu solchen Machenschaften sagt.

Oberhauptwarnung. Hier wird sofort mit dem ersten Training ein Abo gebucht. Eine Info dazu gibt es nirgends. Man kann das Abo auch nicht in der App oder auf der Homepage kündigen. Dazu ist immer ein Support Ticket nötig. Mein Anwalt wird sich dieser Sache jetzt annehmen. Mal schauen wie lange es die App noch gibt. ——- Auch nach der Antwort bleibe ich bei meiner Aussage. Der Kundensupport hat mir schriftlich mitgeteilt das eine Kündigung nur über den Support möglich ist. Das ist absolut gegen aktuell gültiges Recht.

Absolutely Useless

Before even digging into the inefficiencies of the app, buyer beware! I downloaded, reviewed the app, and instantly cancelled my subscription. Weeks later I was still charged. I was told by customer service that the charge was irreversible because it was a digital download. Absolutely ridiculous!

Now, onto the app. This app is…grade school exercise. That’s it. If you can do jumping jacks, pushups, burpees, and any other form of body weight exercise, then you don’t need this app. No diet. No resistance training. Nothing. Well, there is more, but it offers very little at a ridiculously high cost.

They make it impossible to see your subscription status in the app or online. Their “help” says you manage your subscription through your phone’s “subscriptions” list, but in my case it never appeared there. I emailed them the moment a pending “renewal” charge appeared, only to get fed multiple BS email refusals to refund. I’ve filed a fraud report with the credit card. Avoid this company as it is clear their business plan depends on stealing extra funds from customers who no longer want their stuff.

Ich habe ein Einführungsangebot bzw. einen 4-Wochen-Plan für 17,89 € abgeschlossen. Nach Ablauf dieser Startphase wurde automatisch ein deutlich höherer Betrag von 89,63 € berechnet. Aus meiner Sicht war die finanzielle Folge der automatischen Verlängerung nicht ausreichend klar und transparent dargestellt.

Besonders enttäuschend war der Umgang des Supports mit dem Fall. Eine Erstattung wurde abgelehnt, ebenso mein Kompromissvorschlag, den Betrag zu behalten, aber die Zugriffsdauer entsprechend zu verlängern. Stattdessen wurde mehrfach nur auf die Unternehmensrichtlinie verwiesen.

Für mich hinterlässt das einen sehr schlechten Eindruck. Bei Abo-Modellen, insbesondere nach Einführungsangeboten, erwarte ich eine deutlich transparentere Kommunikation und einen kundenfreundlicheren Umgang mit solchen Fällen.

I signed up for an introductory offer / 4-week plan for €17.89. After the initial period ended, I was automatically charged a significantly higher amount of €89.63. In my opinion, the financial consequence of the automatic renewal was not made clear and transparent enough.

What disappointed me even more was the way customer support handled the case. My refund request was rejected, and so was my compromise proposal to let Menletics keep the payment but extend the access period accordingly. Instead, they repeatedly referred to their company policy.

This leaves a very negative impression. With subscription models, especially after introductory offers, I expect much clearer communication and a more customer-friendly approach.
