Great when it works, super unreliable, built by people who don’t understand networking
Notable difference between laundry and oven devices
Ovens are excreable; wifi modules can’t deal with networks that isolate devices even though they don’t need to talk to other devices on the network; establish a whole fresh network to register them then move on to the isolated network and all is well
Laundry setup is much smoother using Bluetooth, but “wake” is unreliable and state sync of device sometimes requires a force quit of app
Failed instruction Manual downloads (6 bytes vs 9 mb) are neither detected nor corrected
Miele need a competent tech director, and a year or two to fix all the broken edges. Product design and feature set is good; it just barely works

No TwinDos notifications
As the title suggests, there are no notifications when your Ultraphase 1 or 2 runs out in your washing machine. Very, very, annoying. Please fix this, or make a feature, ASAP.
Vacuum registration
Impossible to register for warranty/ app defaults solely to WiFi enabled products. Not for $800 vacuum.
Completely useless
I purchased a top of the range Miele dishwasher and was unable to connect it to the Miele app on my iPhone 17. Completely useless!
Cannot Login the App using existing account.
Bad app. I have a Miele account but app just refuses to log me in. It says authentication failed every thing after deleting and reloading. I can only use the website and not the app.
Buggy
Password reset issues and log outs too much effort to be useful
More functionality would make the app/mobile connection useful
Easy to connect washer/dryer to the app, but I was hoping that I could access appliance settings and programmable functions so that I wouldn’t have to navigate using the small digital display on the unit itself.
For example, changing things like PIN code, keypad volume, buzzer, and welcome time; changing these options within an app would probably be less of a hassle than navigating the programmable functions on the appliance itself.
Edit:
It’s now been a couple years and the app functionality hasn’t improved at all. I can only assume that the people who work on this product don’t actually use it in their own homes.

Failed to login
Account authentication failed during multiple attempts, including after uninstall and reinstall. After every login, pop up dialog box with “Authentication failed” appeared and signed me out. Login works in a desktop browser.
Required But Not Desired
This is the way you’ll interact and monitor with your @home connected Miele appliances, but the app is a bit glitchy and the designers probably don’t use the app themselves due to how it’s organized.
First: Living in the US, we use the unpopular Fahrenheit system. Our WXR860 clothes washer is set to F, as is the Miele app, but the app is taking the washer’s reported temp (in F) and re-converting it to F, meaning washer is running an 85F wash, the app says it’s a 185F wash. Not critical but annoying and seems like a very obvious bug that hasn’t been fixed still.
Second: Going into the washer app, half the initial screen shows a huge washer line art image, and Washing Assistant “Unsure how to best wash your textiles?” which I can’t imagine many people need the assistant this often to make a priority over washer cycle details (like estimated time of completion, not just time remaining.)
Third: Unsure if the washer tracks actual eco usage (water, electricity) but the Miele dishwasher does. If so, why can’t I see water and kW usage as a washer cycle progresses in the app?
There are other annoying niggles as a user I’ve learned to live with but the whole experience feels like it was outsourced. Glitches, annoying navigation flow, TwinDos level on separate areas. “Programme” spelling when cycle time changes in pop-up alerts despite being in the US. It’s my least favorite part of using my Miele appliances.

Very hard to get it started

Awful app
Many days, e-mails & calls. Still not resolved.
Appliances only work for one user
Once you register an appliance it will only work for that one user.
I can stop the beeping!
I love this app mostly because I turn the sodding alarm off from anywhere in my house. Before I had the app I wouldn't put a wash on in the evenings because I'd have to get out of bed to turn the alarm off when it finished - my bedroom is two storeys up from my laundry room and I could still hear it. In an ideal the world one would be able to disable the alarm altogether but until then, I have this app!

After update, app doesn’t work.
The app went from 4-stars to 0-stars after an update. The app has forgotten the home server, the appliances, and crashes.
I am sure someone in Europe will figure it out but I am not going to wait.

Don’t bother… Complete waste of time
As others have said - there are so few “smart” features that make this app basically worthless. By using the app you are introducing many other problems and annoyances that it’s easier to just be standing in front of the machine.
POS
The app simply does not work. I can log in. I’ve tried new accounts, reset PWs, different operating systems and WiFi. Same error every time.
Utter trash
Doesn’t pair with half of my appliances and randomly loses connection to the other half.
Payment nor working
Trying to use vouchers I received with new appliances but payment options in the online shop are not working.
5Ghz not available on your machines
You need to make the machines available on the other wifi band so that it works faster and less dropouts
Platform Server
Reliably & regularly down!! I will be moving away from Miele disappointed also with my latest washing machine!! Standards have diminished!!😡
