I love the mail and I especially love the inner active app and the tracking of what my mail does and the community! Highly highly recommend!!!
New design sucks
Can’t find the full food library now which used to be on old design. Now it’s a general guide. Please bring back full food library back to app. It supposed to be in the app, but been searching an hour now trying to find it in the app.
Great for apartment living
I love composting! Yet living in an apartment doesn’t offer me the option to store food to then deliver offsite. The mill bin has been an amazing addition to our lifestyle and it fits easily into our kitchen area. No smells and super simple.
More controls/cycle count please
It would be nice to have a skip option or a pause option for when I’m going to empty the bin soon. Or like a manual schedule option. I don’t like how there isn’t a complete history for number of runs in a month or something like that.

This app is useless!! There is no way to sign up, you can only sign IN. But if you don’t have an account, there is no way to sign in. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
What a mistake
The idea of having a garbage can that needs to be plugged in was repulsive, but I decided I’d try it since it was a gift. But when it couldn’t be used- as in “there’s no way to set the clock”-without downloading an app to my phone, it was clear that the app is designed to do something other than set the clock (clocks were able to be set for centuries without apps). It must be a Trojan Horse mining data from your phone and every other thing it Bluetooth’s with.

Was happy until…
The app stopped recognizing my login info. Funny how I have no issues logging in online with my login credentials but the app seems to stupid not to recognize it. Haven’t even had the mill bin a month and already having issues with controlling the bin from the app. SMH
Too Bad Millie
After months of debating on buying this, we finally made the move. All was well up until we attempted to set it up. Day 1: Downloaded the app, plugged Millie into outlet but never got it paired.
Tried over and over until frustration got the best of me (4 hours) Day 2: Reset Millie, same result, unable to pair. 2nd try of Day 2, finally connected and went through steps of taking out the basket, once bucket adjusted and I set Dry & Grind for 9:00p, Millie was offline. (2 hours). Went through every troubleshooting process with no luck 🤯😏

Locked out
I was locked out after I changed my email address. There is no help phone or chat. They have not yet responded to my request for help on their help center. I can’t use the app. I would hope that with a machine this pricey they would take customer support more seriously.
Loved it for two weeks, now it doesn’t work
Loved this product. With 3 kids, it was great to reuse our food waste. Unfortunately, it disconnected after two weeks of use. Despite going through all the troubleshooting steps (not fun to spend my Sunday morning doing this btw), it is still cannot connect. So, it’s now completely nonfunctional.
I’ll update this review if support ever gets back to me. Perhaps they are having an outage. As it stands now though, not happy at all with this very expensive product that only worked for two weeks.

Our food robot
Love, love, love the Mill. My last attempt at composting ended up with a house full of fruit flies and a stinky bin next to the kitchen counter. Since getting the Mill we haven’t had one issue with smells or bugs. The process is quick and easy and using the app is so simple. We are approaching 200 pounds of food waste use the byproduct in our garden. 100% satisfied with the Mill!

Love my Mill!
We use it so much (family of four) that we fill it every other day. It is quiet and efficient.
Good app, very helpful for setup
Overall a good app. Couple bits of constructive feedback for the devs:
1. I’d like the ability to hide the “grounds” tab since I don’t plan on ever using it.
2. The app sometimes sits at a blank screen on start up or when going to certain views. Restarting the app fixes this problem. This was something I noticed on my first day of using the app

Intuitive & elegant app
Love my Mill food recycler and the app is easy to use to personalize my settings, schedule, and track my impact over time.
Very helpful
App is really helpful for looking up what can go in the bin and scheduling the pickups!
A kitchen game-changer!
I’ve had my Mill for about 10 months, and I can’t imagine what life would be like without it.
I used to put food……in the trash. WHAT??
It was smelly. My bags were drippy. My trash filled up really fast, and I was always carrying bags to the basement. I had FRUIT FLIES
Now I put all my scraps, all my expired food, and all of *my friends’* expired food into my Mill where I get to watch it magically transform into tasty chicken feed. How is this not in every household, like a dishwasher??

Actually completely odorless!
I love Mill. It makes it so easy for me to keep food out of the trash. The best part is I have never had a fruit fly or smelly trash since I started using Mill. And the app is awesome - love the food library in particular, can’t believe how much detail is in there!
Simply can’t live without it
Once you get Mill you will understand how life changing it is. No smelly compost, no bugs, takes a few months to fill up and the empty process is easy.
