Nice App
This app is a nice feature to have with Mobile Asset, allowing you to cut the tether from a desk or laptop.
Some things I would like to see added:
The ability to search other fields, not just the asset tag.
An audible indicator when scanning barcodes.

Possible features to add to barcode scanner
An actual bar code line would be nice to know where to hold the phone to grab the barcode.
The ability to turn off the flashlight if it’s not really needed. What is happening is the flashlight is washing out the barcode. You have to keep moving the phone until that isn’t happening.
Outside of those issues, the update finally gave me the ability to actually use the scanner on my iPhone.

Costs extra
The web site says that this app is included with an enterprise edition purchase. Just read the manual and the last page says it has an extra cost. Not cool.
Poor support
After hours on the phone, they tell me they have no idea how to connect my iPhone to my PC.
No knowledge base regarding connection. Stuck with an app and software that can't talk.

Check out does allow employee assignment
When adding assets we like to have this ability however the current options are only allow for customers.
The other issue is when a Bluetooth barcode scanner is attached the application hides the keyboard. This is a problem when you need to enter data not on a barcode. The only way to make it work is to turn off Bluetooth.
Last issue is on landscape mode the keyboard does not correctly adjust and parts of the window becomes unusable. Closing and reopening the app fixes the issue but it's annoying when doing data entry.
The rest is of the application is solid but the UI can be better organized.
