POOR app/system😡

The favourite trip can be saved but cannot be used afterwards. What’s the point of saving the favourite?

Also the whole Mobility on-request system is a crap. I need ti wake up at 4am to book a ride for 6am. Is this customer service?

The MAP used by the driver is also horrible. The destination location is never correct.

I have to run 🥵to the “pickup” point which is not where I registered. This is not safe for the passenger.

Many times I also need to “hold the hand” of the driver to get to the exact location where I want to be dropped off.

Moreover, the route suggested by the map to the driver is NOT the shortest NOR the most efficient one. Please tell the drivers to use Google or Apple map instead.

York Region Transit is the Biggest Joke!

I’ve been using this app for a bit, half the time I gives me “no drivers are available” yet I watch a bus pick someone up right next to me, and drive down the EXACT SAME ROAD I’m heading.

I was able to make an account, but I cannot book a ride. I keep getting an error saying no ride service can accommodate my trip.

App doesn’t work

1. Can’t register via app - constant loading screen
2. Called in and was registered over phone
3. Confirmed email address via hyperlink
4. Upon attempting to login for the first time I get the same constant loading screen

* Worth noting I restarted app multiple times, deleted and re-downloaded app as well. Tried all of this from my wifi as well as LTE - no improvements. My wife followed the same process with the exact same result. Terrible app.

All the low ratings are outdated

All the bad reviews seem to be from around 2020. The apps works perfectly fine in 2022. Basically a $3-4 uber that can get you just about anywhere you need to go in the area.

Shocked that so many people still user Uber when this is available.

After reporting errors to YRT, they are quickly resolved

Waste of time

This system is completely inefficient. I used to be able to get dropped off at the bus stop near my house without a problem when dial-a-ride was in use. Now it’s pitched that I can get picked up right from my house. That would be great if the app actually worked. I can’t even book a ride and I’ve tried multiple times over the past two years. All this is doing is squashing out options for public transit users so YRT can say ridership is down.

App is TERRIBLE

I tried to book for a ride from my house to work which is from holland landing to Newmarket. Every time I book a ride in their window of operation it ALWAYS says “ something went wrong “ and I cannot get the ride to work and end up getting an Uber spending 4x the amount I would on a mobilit vehicle

Biggest waste of my time

This is the worst idea they could of thought of. The service is terrible but is now the only affordable way to get out of holland landing between 10am and 2 pm. Whoever’s idea it was to not have buses run in the middle of the day should be fired. Tested this app out for the first time and the drive showed up 20 mins early and then left and delayed my schedule ride I book and hour and a half earlier by 20 mins to the point where I can’t catch the connecting bus to get to work on time and I had to cancel the ride on order a lyft instead. How are we supposed to get anywhere mid day if we have no reliable transportation system?

Useless service

The service is useless, the old dial a ride system was a blessing for everybody that needed a ride when the bus wasn’t running. The new concept sounds decent but doesn’t work I’m sorry. The old service was running till 10.45pm for my route and now only till 8.... what do ppl that live here do now? What’s the point of changing the system?

Buggy app, poor service

App itself was fine; only mild bugs, until my ride was rebooked minutes before I was supposed to board and I was promptly marked as a no show. Once you’re marked as a no show, the pop-up won’t go away, making the app unusable. I was going to give the app a much better rating before this, even though I have many complaints about the way booking works and you can only pick from a handful of stops in your area, which makes the MOR service nearly pointless, but still viable. Please do a better job on quality assurance before making the app mandatory for customers.
