Peace of Mind from Moen

Why did the App change
I bought this device few years ago and for the first few years it worked fine. Then the company “upgraded” to a new app and it’s been a headache ever since
Loss the use of detail usage on the app
In the app migration, they took away the detailed usage. I use this to find out how much each appliance is using or what appliance is running. I found the detail usage very hopeful to problem solve and investigate the happenings in the house.
Disconnects on its own
The new Moen Flo app no longer reconnects the Flo device to the app, without direct completing an extraordinary debugging effort.
Tempremental
Our Flo by Moen is not very reliable. It consistently goes off line. We have checked our internet and the problem seems lie with the communication with Moen. Every other internet connected device in our home has no problems with communication. Looking to switch the provider assuming we can find one more reliable.

Hate it!!
My water shuts off all the time! God forbid we have guests or someone takes shower at weird hour, it’s guaranteed to shut. We get notified all the time then suddenly it’s resolved!! Such a pain!!

Poor user experience
Unstable internet connection, and many false alarms. No easy eay to set sensitivity. Device highly irritating and occasionally useful.
Devices/App
Devices are erratic to say the least. The app is not convenient to switch homes since the update. The app does not follow settings (will call me for a false leak even when I turned off call). Devices are not reliable at detecting leaks because there are so many false detections.
New app is not functional
Since the new app migration, I have not been able to see my leak detection device. It’s been about a month. Tech support has not been able to help me either. They say it’s a known app issue, yet here we are, still a blank screen on the app. I was told they would let me know when it was fixed, but nothing yet. I think they’ve given up.

Not working
Always shutting water off
Water Detector Poor
I’ve tried over 2 dozen times to connect the detector to wifi. The app gets hung up there every time, won’t let me cancel or go back. Have to reboot the phone to start over. The software is awfull.
Waiting for the good
Installed in a rental unit. Only once I have left and days later, I find out how weak the wifi capabilities are for this unit. I travel back and install a wired endpoint next to moen to provide wifi. Now I have great connection and I can see pressure and temp but no flow. My guess is that this is a faulty unit. Way too much work in this day and age.

Great for second homes
We use this at our beach home and it has been rock solid for over 3 years now. It even alerted me of a small drip in a leaky toilet valve recently.
Peace of mind
This app lets me keep track of my water usage and water pressure in real time. In addition if there is a leak, I can instantly shut the water off and prevent any potential issues. Love this app!
