Sign in with Apple Fail
They have changed the Sign in with Apple functionality and it now fails. It requires manually entering my Apple ID/iCloud account and then password. Once entered and successfully authenticated it prompts for security key but gets at stuck not allowing security key to be verified. This is all because their authentication is failing to automatically recognize I am signing in on an iOS or iPadOS device and pick up the appleID automatically. Manual entry is forcing the use of my Security Key but then it gets stuck on continue button to allow for security key verification.

Problem with irrigation
System continues to shut off water when irrigation system turns on. Even though I put it in the settings

The Moen company sent me the device and arranged for its installation of the device. It works very well and my house is protected.
Over looked details
The user should be able to decide which measurements system they want per item and not just simply metric or imperial.
The leak test always shows a countdown of about 3 minutes but the overall test only lasts about 10 seconds. Not much of a leak test.

Major feature removed
The app now show only water usage not itemized usage by appliance. This was a major feature that was not accurate but still useful to understand which appliance is responsible for major water usage like toilets or irrigation system.
Just a meter - no longer smart
I bought this device so I could track usage by fixture. Detection wasn’t perfect but I met my needs. To have this ability removed from the app is a major disappointment and I expected more from Moen.
New app is disorganized
The newest app is a user interface mess. Nothing is located where you would think it should be. Finding basic information on water flow, what device it might be coming from, is all difficult to locate or nonexistent.
Need a good UI developer to repair this mess.

It sucks
The device has set limitations that cannot be overridden. Customer service at Moen is awful. A rare combination of incompetence and indifference.
New app is lack luster
Big fan of the Flo product as I have 2 of them. The new app doesn’t do a good job of showing real time flow rates like the old one. As an automatic shutoff the device works fine but real time monitoring is disappointing.

If your using apple to login and have multi factor turned on you can’t login

This app does not provide nearly as much information as the old Flo app did. Not nearly as helpful.

Can even setup the Leak Detecor Wi-Fi
The app cannot even setup the Leak Detector to work on your wi-fi. It hangs when you try to connect an iPhone to the devices wi-fi and cannot continue.
Broken app
Terrible app, no longer have fixture level data available in the app (only the website) and no means of correcting fixture data on the website. What’s the point of this app? Customer service is also dismal.

Huge lag in real-time data. Sometimes the app spins and spins and shows nothing.
Don’t buy this product if you have a sprinkler system
I’ve spent two years fighting with my sprinkler system. I never know when my water is gonna be shut off during the summer no matter what I try manual overrides, etc. still shuts my water off. Terrible.
Alerts
I received over one hundred. We weren’t home. I had someone go by and check device. Dried sensor button and restarted. No issues. Shortly more alerts. A hundred or more again. Their AI BOT is of no help. No human to call or get help from. Not certain I trust this device or company after five years of use. I got two hundred + calls during the night from their automated system.
