New app
The new app will not allow irrigation watering longer than 2 hours or more than 25 gpm. I had no problem with the old app.
Missing key items
I’m hoping this is actually helpful and something’s done about it. The big difference is the Moen Flo app isn’t able to do, is invite additional users. Mideas new smart app as well as resideos new First Alert app both allow you to invite other users. This makes it super easy to use. In my case, I have dozens of clients that utilize this and because of that I need to log in and out trying different credentials to see who might be having an alert, typically a false alarm. In those other big company apps, I can scroll from house to house without having to login and out.
Additionally, I get voice calls, letting me know that the Moen Flo is going to turn off in a certain amount of time. However, it provides zero detail on which one.
The design of the Moen Flo and the app is one device per account per user. Nobody’s thinking big picture. This is why other devices like Phynn are doing better and you’re starting to lose ground. I hope you guys make some simple changes because this is not anything crazy.

If you have well water, I fine that the flow by Moen gets iron deposits on the magnets inside the device after certain period of time and it stops recording or picking up the flow you need a solution to fix that

I’m in Arizona and it tells me there is a freeze warning. Doesn’t work.
leak or humidity detector?
So far, it seems to be a humidity detector. So far, it gives me a false positive reading for a leak when the humidity rises in the house. But maybe it’s just my lack of knowledge of exactly how to use the products yet. I’m still new to these things, so I’m gonna have to do more research on it.

Turns water off mid shower!
This is the worst product. It claims to send me notifications but it never does and will turn off my water mid shower. It is to the point where I don’t trust my device anymore and always put it to sleep. Honestly I should just unplug it. Also BEWARE IF YOU ARE BUYING A NEW HOME THAT HAS THIS, THE ACCOUNT CHANGEOVER PROCESS IS NOT FUN ESPECIALLY IF THE PREVIOUS OWNER CANNOT ACCESS THE ACCOUNT ANYMORE. Online it claims the app will go into learning mode when paired with a new account but nope, it was learning for like, 4 hours and turned then water off on me with no notification. Would give zero stars if I could. It even does this when I set the settings to the most lenient. It really does not like the flow rate of my shower head, and it KNOWS I have a shower!

Bring back old app
This new app is ridiculous. It goes offline multiple times a day even though Internet connection is fine. You can no longer override the AI water systems so if it detects something, it will shut it down. For example it wanted to shut off because we were doing laundry. This cost way too much to be so ineffective.

Poor internet connection
This device looses WiFi connection daily. You have to climb under the sink and reset it. That sucks!

We used to fear basement leaks while away home. Our floor moisture sensors give us total peace of mind!

New App is a Downgrade
Moen Flo replaces Flo by Moen. In the previous app, the UI was much more intuitive and functional. It was easy and clear how to shut off or turn on the water. If an alarm was triggered, you could suspend if for a few hours. When an alert happened click g the warning would bring you to the even to take action. In this new version, none of those things are obvious. I get a warning for leak detected. I click the warning, and it just brings me into the app. I have to click on alerts. It’s not clear if the water is on or off.

New App Has Major Flaw that Makes it Unusable
The old Flo app used to be a great app that gave you the peace of mind without have to think about it. Unfortunately they forced everyone to the new Moen Flo app which is unusable if you have an irrigation system. In the original Flo app you could set Overrides for when your irrigation system runs so it wouldn’t notify you of unusual activity and shut your water off. The new app has the same feature but they set the maximum limits way too low so if you have even just a small 8 zone system it will call/notify you if it runs more than 120 min and shut your water off. You can set it to not shut the water off but I’m still getting woken up by calls/notifications in the early mornings when my system runs. The app has been out for 6+ months and I’ve had multiple calls with tech support but they still don’t seem to have a solution… not sure how hard it is to just change the upper limits so users can customize the override to their specific needs… time to look at other options which is very annoying since this is obviously plumbed in…

Wifi floats in and out. Might be out of WiFi for a few weeks then magically comes back. Not reliable

Keeps on shutting off schedule while I’m on vacation, I come home to a dead lawn and trees.

Flo by Moen - Love mine!
Excellent product! Had over a year now and It saved me a few times with water issues! Highly recommend this product! Love it!
