Worked fine for 10 transactions, then 'Transfer Failed' with the money in the account and correct information. DO NOT recommend. Also, customer support take days.

Grab charges Americans more than they charge Filipinos, so I am trying to put money on my friend’s bank account and it’s been working and now it suddenly won’t let me send anymore of my funds. It’s my money give me access to it!!
Excellent for payments in Vietnam
Came in super handy, have already used it several times with vendors and even needed to pay by QR code for my airport car transfer so was very glad I set it up and had it ready when I arrived. Super quick to add cash via Apple Pay.
Is this a scam? Thailand QR codes not supported
I downloaded this app specifically because it was advertised as being able to scan Thai QR codes. Only after completing the ID verification did I find out that it doesn’t actually work for Thailand. This should be clearly stated before asking users to go through the verification process.
Super convenient and easy to use
Used this app in Shenzhen and it was incredibly helpful. Signing up and adding funds was straightforward and I was able to make QR code payments for transactions including restaurants, shops, and transportation - highly recommend!
Toll für Ausländer in Vietnam
Endlich eine Möglichkeit gefunden, einfach und zügig zu bezahlen. App annähernd überall einsetzbar! Die geringen Gebühren gehören zu den Betriebskosten ;-) Weiterer großer Vorteil: kein vietnamesisches Bankkonto nötig! Klare Empfehlung!
Useful, when it works.
This app has been helpful as an Australian travelling in Vietnam, but also the cause of all the payment pain points during the trip. From a problem with one of their partners with no communication in app or otherwise until resolution, constant failed payments despite 5G network coverage, or general app instability - it's just been a bit of a dud user experience. When it was working thought, it did its job well. Just wish it was more reliable.

Hit or miss- lack of reliability
Paying with this app in Vietnam is really hit or miss. Sometimes payments simply won’t go through, without any warning or notification from Moreta. When you’re paying a 2.5% fee on every deposit, you’d think they could at least send a message letting customers know when the service is down

Great product until it doesn’t work as it did
I have just returned to Vietnam and resumed my usual life, relying on Moreta QR for absolutely everything; there have been two vendors, so far, whose QR has not worked (but definitely did three weeks ago) so I can only assume that there has been a change with some bank somewhere - I hope business as usual will prevail …

Works until they update!
Super useful, super reliable, have used in a couple of countries and their support is surprisingly fast. But I’m dropping 2 stars because every time the app updates it logs you out and doesn’t remember the account you logged in with. Of course I’m standing at the side of the road having already ordered noodles and I need to pay, Moreta had silently updated, I try to use it and … “Hello new user”, what a joke, when I open it its because I need to pay *now*, I can’t go back home and use password manager, and if I didn’t have backup a QR pay this would have been a tricky situation! Keeping me logged in, with my biometric auth, even across updates is incredibly important UX. Will be looking for more alternatives - yes the onboarding is nice, but im a customer already - the last thing I need is the fancy new onboarding screen

You can’t pay street vendors
It’s so hard to find someone in Thailand that actually has a business account. Majority of the locals only have a personal prompt pay.
