TruConnect was okay when I first got it it had great data but then my data ran out and I couldn’t watch TikTok make calls text or anything and then I kept buying data that still wouldnt last so I was just wasting money so I do not recommend TruConnect if you wanting good phine service

In all the years I have all
been using Mobile phones ever since 1984, it’s embarrassing to admit that I bought a C-8 phone from TruConnect even though I only paid &30. While Google is pushing to takeover the whole smart phone and smart tv market, they are showing that they don’t care about consumers. The C-8 phone isn’t worth a penny. It’s the most aggravating situation for anyone to experience trying to use basic features. To which is a basic feature you have to wait for the phone to quit stumbling while you try to compete Whitby, lack of processor speed and ram. The C8 bomb is Google proud example of lousy quality assurance. While you’re trying to dial if you’re lucky to have patience while the phone stumbles to bring to the screen a telephone keypad, 15,000 user and android processes are using up all ram and processor capabilities. A good example of Googles inability to provide a new and just plain good quality Android operating system is the terrible Amazon Fire android 14 Televisions . The new fire television has an android 14 operating system. Amazon dropped the ball on their badly needed new TV. Telling consumers that they were going to surprise everyone on their newest fire tv, they gave the ball to Google and Google gladly did what they wanted of course.

Where’s my free phone
Where’s my free phone that I ordered I don’t have my free phone yet I want to know what is taking so long for these people to deliver my free phone I’m going to have to order a free phone from some where else
Smooth Transition
The process when signing up for service was very smooth. The real benefit came when I was introduced to the My TruConnect App. I actually achieved five hundred MB of data within the first hour of using it. It was definitely a Great experience.
Not satisfied
I’ve never been able to have internet service at my home through TruConnect. I had to have internet installed 2 years to have service. I thought my internet provider was receiving my lifeline but just found out that they weren’t. I would like to cancel my Lifeline TruConnect account so I can switch my Lifeline to an internet provider that’s works at my home. I’ve called before to inform TruConnect that I didn’t have internet access but kept getting told I did.

False advertising
They advertise TruConnect by saying “UNLIMITED DATA, UNLIMITED TALK & TEXT” which completely false. You get 10 or 20 GB a month, and once that runs out, you are screwweeedddd bc you can’t make calls, send texts, and you obviously won’t have internet either which is an absolute NIGHTMARE. The first time I ran out of data, I found myself stuck at my new house (in the middle of nowhere) with no way to contact ANYBODY and it was scary. If somebody broke into my house, I wouldn’t have even been able to call 911. I’m sure there are free phone services that offer unlimited data .. you should get one of them. Also, the service is awful. 19 out of 20 times, the person on the other line can’t hear me or it sounds like I’m talking underwater. Awful.

Data Doesn’t Renew
I have the 5GB plan and its been three months, and i haven’t had my data replenished . The voice quality is good, but for data not so much. I’m considering porting out since i have zero data even if i renew the month. They are not going to credit me for the past months so why even bother, but i can’t port out at the moment, i just renewed and what a surprise. No data, can’t afford to port out but will whenever the opportunity permits

Not bad for a free plan
Not the best phone plan but it’s free so can’t expect too much. Have seen worse. Was able to redeem points for data once but nothing shows up now when trying to redeem. It’s an engaging concept if it can be consistent. Customer service was great when I had an issue one time. Not a lot of data to begin with so utilizing ways to earn points to be redeemed for data would be great if can continue to do it.

My opinion
It seems to me that some phone work better than others for some reason . When I had a phone that wasn’t really compatible the calls in and out don’t work and the voice mail don’t either only text and internet . When I got a phone that is compatible with there service , everything work out even the signal.It did took me a bit to figure this out on my own smh. They need better customer service and communication most definitely

It's good app
Can you add old data meter??? Looks like new updates. But You also need to put the remaining data. (Instead of indicate remaining % ) old data meter is better , because i can see how much data remain. hard to figure that out how much data have used if showing only percentage.
This app scams you for your data
Don’t ever buy data with them or have any service. They will run your data out the first 2days even if you don’t use it, then they will ask you to pay $15 every Time for you data to be refilled!!! 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Looks like new updates. But You also need to put the remaining data. (Instead of indicate remaining % ) old data meter is better , because i can see how much data remain. hard to figure that out how much data have used if showing only percentage.
Not happy
This is the second time that I don’t get the 6 gb I’m supposed to get a month. Last month I called about it and they played me telling me I already used them. I did not… the gb I had I had to buy because I didn’t get the gb Im supposed to get every month

This service is so bad, it says on SOS only, I can’t send or receive picture messaging none of the time,Sometimes I can’t receive calls or texts my friends tell me I’ve tried to get a hold of you, but I can’t. I called truconnect. They are unwilling to help me. They make fun of me. They tell me that they can’t understand me, they tell me it’s my phone issue. They are rude!I have called about this same issue 6 times now and nothing is resolved. The manager told me I get what I pay for. They only go through two trouble shootings than give up. I have only had their Service for less than one month.

I’m a new customer and connection and signal has been great so far and I had to call customer service once to help get me logged in to my account and they was very friendly and helpful
