Lots of activities listed!

I only just downloaded it but it seems like a really good start!! It’s kinda like eventbrite but for kids. One thing though when you “explore”, the tiles for “health & wellness” and “sports & athletics” don’t show any results. I don’t think they’re supposed to be empty though because the infinite scroll of all events shows everything from basketball leagues to mindfulness classes. Hopefully you can update it because I think they’re big interest groups for teens!

Age required??

When you first launch the app it asks you for your name and date of birth, and tells you both are optional. But if you leave them blank it populates your birthday as the current date, 2011, effectively telling the app you’re 13 years old. The date can be changed, but cannot be deleted. I’d appreciate some simple checkboxes in events, like “show me events for kids, young adults, older adults” etc so I can search for what I want when I want. But this “tell us how old you are and we’ll hand you things we think are age-appropriate for you” is making way too many assumptions about what I might be interested in.

Comprehensive List of Events

I appreciate that this app includes events from various organizations including the park district and the library, but I hope they can continue to get more community organizations to include their events and programs on this app.

Also, I wish there was an easy way to filter events by location or organization (for example, filtering only library events or filtering only events at a specific park).
