Some parts of the app aren’t accessible with voiceover
“Please read carefully” is a joke when the app won’t let you.
While I was still scrolling that window, the app timed out and kicked me back to login. So the price of trying to read the contract is starting over. That is not consent. That is a hostage checkbox.
And the terms themselves are a masterpiece of one-way street: they can change the deal whenever they want, continued use equals agreement, liability is basically zero on their side, disputes get steered toward Virginia Beach arbitration they pick, and they even try to ban automated access to your own loan data even if you authorized it. Meanwhile the borrower gets an “as-is” website and a grayed-out Continue button until they surrender.
I am not refusing to use a portal. I am refusing to pretend a take-it-or-leave-it wall of fine print I cannot enlarge, save, or finish before the session dies is a fair contract. Put the terms on a real page. Let people download them. Stop timing out the login while you force people to rubber-stamp Virginia law on a South Carolina mortgage account.
Until then: one star, and the star is for the Continue button working after you check the box you couldn’t reasonably read.
