Depositing checks
It will not focus. Some times it works fine, other times it’s awful, regular camera picks up the check fine while Synovus camera will not capture check. Bothers me because I don’t have availability to go deposit a check during the week because of work.
Needs updating
Last update was awful. Not sure why they have to list a category instead of the place I actually spent the money. I keep changing it but it goes right back to a category. Please change it.
Horrible deposit functionality
This app is awful. Depositing a check is nearly impossible. In some cases I could drive to the bank faster than the 6 attempts it takes to successfully capture the check image. I’ve used other bank apps over 10 years ago that worked better. Do better! It’s 2026.
No longer able to make mobile deposits?
Since the latest update there is no longer a mobile deposits option? My deposit button has been replaced with an insights button— please bring back to deposits option to make the app more accessible.
App No Longer Works
Here I am in Jan 2026 with no way to access my accounts. Since the update, it keeps saying there is a network error yet all my other apps work. Just a sign of bad things to come by merging with awful Pinnacle Bank.

i just dont understand why we still dont have the option to lock and unlock our debit cards like every other bank app. even cash app has that. the app is so old fashioned. no alerts if your card is being used without your permission either

Card Payment feature needs an overhaul
Unbelievably Bad
It’s hard to believe that a bank could fail so hard at an app. I can’t tell you how many times I have tried to schedule a payment for my Synovus credit card only to receive an error message. The app doesn’t even show the remaining statement balance for my card. It only shows the total balance. So there’s no way to know how much one needs to pay in order to pay off the monthly balance due. I can’t even access statements on the app so I can’t even calculate it myself. The bank only sends paper statements and doesn’t even email me a digital copy. I closed my Synovus banking account and will likely cancel this credit card, too. It’s not worth the hassle.

For 2025 this app is junk
App worked fine in unremarkable for years. Had to reset my phone after getting a repair. Try to log in with known good password and app says incorrect password. Go to website and enter same password using password manager and it works. Change password, delete and reinstall app try again. Same thing. App fails and website works. Tried manually entering password. Fail. Tried changing it again on app. Failed. Go to web it works. Reboot phone. Delete app again failed. Works on web.

Last update broke deposits feature
I attempted to make a deposit using the app this morning. After filling in the details it simply locks up saying full screen required.

I had my wallet stolen while in the hospital. The bank has worked with me. The card was missing for quite some time. I have used the bank , under other bank names and they have always been the best ,

Card repeatedly getting hacked
I am coming in tomorrow to close my checking and savings account. I added my husband to my account he thinks y’all are a joke. I understand things happen but six debt cards latter is ridiculous. Everytime y’all act like it is my fault. Never mind the times I have had to wait two weeks for a new card.
