My mom tried to extend her plan using the app; it told her "failure." Neither of us could log her into the website either on her phone or my computer, so I also downloaded the app (on a new MacBook Pro). Instead of even logging in, the app forced the non-working website to open -- in Safari, not my default browser. I also tried to get help through their chat system; it dead-ended me asking for a PIN (that's for card-using customers).

App still doesn’t work! Going on for several months now! What the **** is wrong with this company!
This app sucks
the ui on this app is terrible. you have to sign into the app like 3 times to actually sign in. my account got locked so i had to reset my password to get back in, i tried to reset my password 3 times but it every time it would never take me to a password reset page, and would just take me to a sign in page. Overall do yourself a favor and get another phone line. This is terrible.

Absolutely terrible app
Would give it a 0 rating if I could. Does not let me buy the plan I want, does not keep track of my plan balances. Called customer service and they tried to sell me a plan I didn’t want. The updated format is difficult to navigate. You would think that a company as big as Verizon would have competent people who could handle designing an app. Fix your app so you don’t have the many frustrated customers like I’m reading. It’s not rocket science for God’s sake.

Worthless app
I can no longer get my end of service date or the amount of data/minutes/texts left. It also will not give me any options for purchasing service. Do not bother with this app. You’re better off logging into your account on a web browser.

This app is absolute garbage. It almost never works correctly. I can’t even count the number of times the app wouldn’t even load. The most frustrating thing though is that auto pay does not work at all. It never takes the money on its own, and then my phone gets shut off. I’ve had to call customer service every month to get them to take the payment. I just canceled auto pay because, on top of not working, I wasn’t getting any discount for using it anymore either. Tracfone service has really gone downhill lately, and I would never recommend it to anyone! I might just have to bite the bullet and pay more to switch to another carrier. It would be worth it to cut out the stress.

What happened
App used to be so nice and easy to navigate. They’ve made changes to app in the past year that render it useless and impossible to navigate easily. App has you bouncing from app to browser. My unlimited plan constantly says out of data/hotspot on the app, forcing me to bounce between app and browser every other click, then ultimately making me contact lie support customer service which takes forever. I’ve had to do this every month since January. The add ons they give you don’t work, have to jump through hoops and still call customer service because there always seems to be an issue now. Auto refill date changes every time I open the app. Plans are inconsistent on the app and nothing seems to work right. Frustrating, useless app/website nowadays.

Horrible app
The new app does not work at all. I can’t add anything, it’s hard to navigate, and I can’t add minutes to my son’s phone.
Bad design.
Doesn’t work with or without VPN and lacks the user friendly interface it had for years, whereas everything you needed was located at a glance in the main page. Very disappointing as well as a confusing setup. I will probably switch to STRAIGHT TALK.

They won’t let me refill my phone and even a worker hang up because I was yelling at her to fix the app because to get a refill planned.

Hey thanks a lot for the update that made the entirety of the app stop working for me!! I can no longer use your service. Which sucks because before I loved using Tracfones service. Please fix this issue. I cannot login to my account which makes it so I can no longer access anything related to my payment or my data usage. As someone who’s already struggling with money this is really bringing me down. Do something about it.

This app is terrible now
The app won’t let you see your expiration date. You have to dig deep and open a browser and it’s terrible selection of pay as you go plans. It’s always trying to force you into a monthly plan or a “recurring” pay as you go.

Use to be able to check my balance, end dates and order and services.. not anymore!! Only way to check the balance is via text..
