Poor service. Hidden charges without any explanation

I didn't get the full security deposit back. I contacted the customer service many times but they couldn't explain where they deducted the exact amount. Very unprofessional service.

Just got saved becoause i had a backup option!!

Very bad service!!! They want to verify our documents as if they are providing their services for free!! All you have to do is keep calling them and ask for updates all the time. They don’t value time for their customers nor their situation. I had cancelled my booking because it took them 3 hours to confirm the booking and still no response or any update from their side!! I am glad i had other service provider available during tough hours around 11 PM so i was saved. But if you have any emergency situation please avoid Mychoize! Also they want us to pay upfront but cannot provide car details and condition before booking and if we don’t like the car and cancel they charge the whole amount…what kind of service is that??

Fraud!!!

Worst experience ever. I’ve cancelled a booking and on app it said only 640 rs will be charged as cancellation fee and rest of the money will be refunded. And booking amount was 7350 rs. Because of the charges mentioned in the app I cancelled and after few mins I got the email saying only security deposit will be refunded (3000 rs) and rest will be charged as cancellation fee, because your cancellation. And now they are saying we can’t do anything, please write a mail, but the mail id itself is also not available anywhere, neither app nor website.

WORST SERVICE!!! Please book any other rental service but this. They’ve already looted me and I’m trying to find a way to fight them but other than reaching down their office, there’s no way to get my money back. Fraud company.

Worst car rental experience

I had a frustrating experience with the mychoiz team. They ask for a cancellation fees for modifying a rental date for early pickup. They ask for a day charge which is totally absurd for getting a car early. On top of it, they don't even provide car images before booking. Also car condition is poor and not maintained. Having scratches and dents all over the car.

Among all the above issues, customer support is extremely annoying and not helpful at all. They don't want to help the customer and just annoy.

I would not recommend anyone to book a rental from MyChoize. They charged me unnecessarily and did not even help in getting the car. Worst service ever.

Great Experience

I recently used the car rental service provided by My Choize in Mumbai, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The app was user-friendly and made booking a breeze. The cars were well-maintained, thanks to the dedicated team in Mumbai, who ensured the vehicles were in top condition. The pickup and drop-off process was smooth, making my experience hassle-free, particularly Rohan and Ratan for the pickup and drop. Overall, I highly recommend My Choize for their excellent service and commendable team in Mumbai.

Fantastic self drive car rental service

I have availed services of MyChoize, the self drive division of Orix, in Mumbai and they are one of the best… excellent service , each and every time.. extremely professional customer care , very good and polite drivers .. and there is no deviation in the process… extremely helpful team and no over charging or any undue recovery for any damages ( as per reviews of some other car rental services ) ..always a pleasure availing their services

Refund problem …and no coordination

Giving 2 stars because their refund process is way too long they make you can every now and then….no cordination between the team the driver(pickup and drop) everything takes 24 hours time whenever you call they’ll say we MIGHT call you in 24 hours (yes i wrote it correct might).
The real problem is I deposited 3000 and when i came back the fastag amount was 900 but idk why they refunded me only 1600..no one had the answer why 500 rupees was deducted when i called they kept on saying we will call you in 24 hours this hept on going for few days then i let it go cause I can’t call everyday and keep repeating the same problem.

First time exp in Pune

It was really a great thing that one takes a rental car from the airport and drops it back after going through all activities in and around Pune. Indeed a nice experience which was not heard of in India in the past. Thanks again

Perfect Trip to pickup Loved one from different city

Toyota Urban Cruise was a smooth and highly maintained Car,

Mr.Sachin was the representative for the car and he has been very helpful, informative and kind during all the times.

Felt the average was a little off for many reasons compared to Honda or Suzuki in same variant.

On Top I felt the KM policies are very sceptical as I had 50 Kms above my pack of 300km. So the company can rethink on making some arrangements for minor extra km difference.

Overall the trip was great but expensive. Not to forget it was my responsibility to take good care of the car. Extra Km policy Needs to be redone.

Clear instructions and steps are simple

An unexpected below average experience

As the background of the App says it is a venture by Orix, a Japan based firm, I would be glad to know that the service there is very professional. However, when anything alike comes to India, especially handled by unprofessionals i.e people who know nothing about how to run a customer base they cause catastrophe. I would suggest one to hire the self driven cars however with a word of caution “Avail on your own risk and be rest assured a major chunk of the security deposit shall be deducted while initiating the refund by some or the other reasonings”.

Frustrating

Booked a car with pre-payment of 11k, it was switched to hold in the pretext of document verification which was supposed to be completed in 3 hours. Guess what, it’s been more than 52 hours and there is no response so far. They also forced me to submit unconventional documents like employee id and payslips. Customer care is of no help as well.

Update: Just received a call from there end and they have confirmed the booking.

I will update it once again when i complete my booking.

Drop off issue

We had our flight at 4.45 PM from Pune
I had purposefully written Timing of 5 PM as return time so as to incase of delay in flight I don’t have to extend my timings ..
now when I called them around 2.30 PM to return the car at around 3.10 PM (Early then what I had originally communicated) they say they don’t have anyone for taking the delivery Of the vehicle .. Then I had to literally tell them I ll leave the car to airport parking if no one shows up for taking delivery .. they said I ll be responsible for the same if anything happens to car! I also said I ll pay parking fees of airport still they said no! Ultimately after so many calls one person came to pick the car at 3.35 that too 1 km away from airport! I had to go there b give the car to him! I jus boarded the flight with a minute to go! This is awful awful…they don’t have any fix location to even take the delivery of the car ..Also no one can be soo certain of the time atleast when it comes to airport drop n pick up! Also in my case I was giving the car early n not late !

Not Safe place to rent a Car

Booking cab itself very lengthy process, After payment there is lot of documentation, really lot.. There is no location shared by team or app it like searching ring in sea, I took 1 hour to take a delivery, Will taking car fuel tank was not exactly full, below or straight to full bar. Will return one security guy take a look and got sign from me, but he didn’t took km driven, The driver came along with me was so rude and attitude, I said Only put what I saw yesterday, He said only 2-3 litters above na why you worry about it. I said it’s my money. again he asked petrol pump servant above full tank, I said no.. he called his manager and complain about me. then he said only after week u will get advance after.. he was so rude.. Customer care said they will review after 2-4 days of trip end, will they won’t use til then? He said we will charge everything like maintenance. seriously maintenance?? I see lot of black holes here.. I took bad decision choosing this company!!!

Specific issue with Mumbai based vendor

Not at all happy with the service level from the Marol Centre (Mumbai) 1. Firstly there was no confirmation no call on acceptance of booking, I had to chase back from Customer care for the confirmation 2. No contact no./location address/ map link provided (I was wondering on the roads with luggage to find out the location) 3 first car which I initially booked was not in good condition so it was changed (got another car after 2 hours) 4. later vehicle also had issue of tyre pressure during taking delivery (later after handing over of vehicle getting a call after 3 days that tyre got damaged due to me and they are now unilaterally informing this will be debited to me without any proof that it is at my end My earlier experience with my choice was phenomenal but this time it is worst. Will never use my choice services in Mumbai in future …

Great team, excellent experience!

I had hired a self drive Swift Dzire from 20 May to 01 Jun from Delhi NCR to travel to Uttarakhand. Received the vehicle at T3 airport which was handed over by a very courteous driver who completed the necessary formalities within 5 mins. As I was not comfortable with the car, MyChoize team arranged a replacement the very next day to my delight! Thanks to the team, my travel across Uttarakhand with my family was wonderful. The cars are maintained quite well and the team (Ashish & Ayush) were always available to answer my queries and to help me with the permits etc. The handing over of the car after my trip was also seamless and took just 10mins. In fact I forgot a couple of personal items in the car which was kept carefully by the team till I could collect it. Very grateful to Mr Balbir Singh for his constant support and guidance.
