The app layout changes every 18months but features remain the same. Only thing new is the push to get you into the service dept more frequently and the addition of brand advertisements.
Roof noise
Running through today’s car wash when you get to the blower it feels like the roof’s getting ripped off
Slow
Supposed to update me on my gas, mileage and oil life every time I turn my truck on but it hasn’t updated in maybe 18 days. Poorly designed poorly ran app.
Running status
I wish the app showed me if the remote start was on or if it was locked or unlocked.

Seriously, it’s quirky enough as it is, why in the world would you make an update mandatory, every single time I have to open it?
If you’re gonna use this app, just beware! It’s seemingly easy to navigate, but, it has a lot of errors! And as I said, it seems like every time or every other time I open this app, it demands that I update. I use this app when it’s necessary, I like to open my doors or on my truck, so then you’re standing in the parking lot, updating your app, what a pain! Get it together GMC you can do better.

Options
I love my app. I have no complaints honestly. I would love to see the option of opening the windows some to release some heat on these 107 degree days. But truly it’s been fantastic for me.
Leak
Leaking water passenger side floorboard when it rains. Dealership said they fixed the first time I brought it in. Not fixed. Will be bringing it again this Thursday. 9/10/26
Useless app
Literally just downloaded it and it seems to not be working literally at all. It’s telling me to sign in. I am signing in. It is accepting my password and then rerouting me to the first page that tells you to sign in it is accepting my password over and over again, but nothing happens if I had been entering my password incorrect, it would tell me my password is incorrect. Instead, it is accepting my password and then redirecting.

Update the app
It takes longer than usual to start remotely.sometimes its not even working.

I can’t imagine a vehicle charging you use a feature you already purchased and then say it’s good for two years then we. Red to charge you for it. Like a root canal, you going to stop me eating
Life saving app
I have locked my keys in my car or not had my keys around so many times… And this app has saved me. I love it so much.

Lack of features
I used to be able to control air from app and now I cannot which is a huge bummer.
No Connectivity On Last Day Of The Month
I recently purchased a new GMC in early July 2026. On July 31st I had no connectivity to my vehicle from about 10am until the following morning through the app. The same occurred on August 31st.
Whoever you partner with for the connectivity between the app and the vehicle needs to sort this out.

Sceptical
I like the app but ever since I did the upgrade, I’ve had major problems opening the app when I’m not home. I subscribed to the car WiFi but it doesn’t seem to work on my phone unless I’m in the vicinity of my home.
2025 Acadia Denali
After driving a 6.2 Sierra Denali since 2007, I got this, took a little getting used to but have learned to like it quite a bit. Gas mileage is excellent. Made it from PHX to SD on .80 of a tank doing the speed limit. I wish the center display was more customizable and also wish I could add my own wallpapers to main display. Better facilitation of console storage and placement of usb ports. Not too big and not too small. Honestly, I wish it had the 5.3 in it (the 4 banger is sufficient enough power wise, but sounds anemic). I believe it would sell like hot cakes, even at current pricing.

Way better than Ford
I have a Ford Expedition and recently bought a Canyon. The Ford app is hit and miss. The GMC app works great! Love it

I wish the app had an option to have the truck start at specified time every morning

Truck had only started they app 1 time in 3 weeks I e had the truck
Pay or useless
Unless you pay $15 a month this app is completely useless. Makes me miss my Ford. So much better.
