When you start a truck with the Remote start app doesn’t show that truck is on.
Not everything in app works
For the past month or so, things have not been working in app. Location takes forever and says not available. And remote start will not work. Locking works.
Low Oil Life Warnings, Errors, Junk
Well...whats new with GM apps. Constant "critical" warnings of low oil life despite having a 2026 model with 1500 miles...app continues to be full of bugs and problems. Welcome to GM.
My Gmc
It works well I enjoy my Gmc Arcadia and signing on with my phone to start the car and is very nice.
Add more features
Additional features needed, like being able to see the current rate of charge on the app while charging, faster responses, as sometimes the system fails to respond, ability to raise and lower the vehicle from the app.

Only works when it wants to. Half the time it won’t even start because of an “error”

Opt out yearly plan are to expensive.
Expensive for an annual plan.
Map location
After a recent update to the app the map location section will not update.

Always says not responding, dealer has had 4 times and can’t fix

Why can’t we control the climate? Often times, I get in after remote starting and have to defrost my windshield. We should be able to choose this option in the app.
Schedule Start , utter waste application
Make an option for schedule, start the car remotely in the app for 7 days a week with option to select what time and day wanted.Remote start taking for ever to start the car , no problem with the network on my phone . USE SOME GOOD TECH TO BUILD A GOOD APP. THIS IS NOT WORKING MOST OF THE TIME. SPENDING A LOT TO GET THE TRUCK, SERVICE IS VERY BAD.LEARN FROM FORD OR HONDA OR ANYONE ELSE.

trusted vehicle function is glitchy
I have a 2024 GMC Hummer EV. MyGMC app has a feature called, trusted device, which unlocks the touchscreen in the vehicle when my trusted device, which is my phone running the app, it present. Three times now in three months, the trusted device feature has failed. The app goes into an endless loop of saying the vehicle is connected, when I turn on the trusted device function, it says cannot pair until the car is connected, but it shows connected. The resolution is to delete the myGMC app from my phone, unpair the phone and vehicle, and start all over.
Overall, it's a good app, but this failure that requires a reinstall if what earns it 2 stars in my evaluation.

Map doesn’t update location on real time frequently.
Not A Fan
Not a fan of the new changes to the app. Very disappointed. App was simple to use before, now you have to jump through hoops to use the app. No disrespect but the new changes SUCK!!!
