Terrible App
As a user of the Investec App previously, this represents a major downgrade and personally I find unusable. The web version is ok, but it looks they have taken the design and tried to cram it into the App and it just doesn’t work. They should start again using the Investec framework as a base and build from there.

Keeps logging me out
Really disappointed with the app. Keeps logging me out and logging back in is very hit and miss. Needs to get sorted asap
Why no landscape view
This app is not as good as the investec app we had before. There is less information available. However, the most frustrating things is having to contort every time I open it as it is fixed in portrait mode and can’t be viewed in landscape. Many people have keyboards on their iPads which means that you are automatically going to be wanting to view in landscape so why does this not exist.

So frustrating
Started using this app as my investments were transferred from Investec following the merger. Well the app does allow me to look at portfolios - but not all of mine. Several months down the line there are still 2 portfolios that I can’t see (curiously not the 3 that I’ve yet to receive the “we’ve completed the transfer” letter about.) I can still view my wife’s portfolios and she has yet to receive the invitation/link to allow her to get online access. Of the portfolios that I can view I’m unable to immediately identify various ones for grandchildren without clicking into them as my name takes up the whole space. Would it be too much to expect previous performance data to be imported from pre-merger? The information is all available……. The Investec app was so much cleaner, easy to navigate and intuitive that this one feels like a really retrograde step

Poor Functionality
Recently transferred from the Investec App which had considerably more functionality and a clearer presentation. Disappointed.
Notifications
It would be helpful for notifications to be deactivated once a message has been received.

Dreadful app/client portal. Compared to others it’s so far behind. Confusing layout, clunky and not user friendly at all. Too much unimportant info displayed instead of key useful metrics. Percentage performance data as a basic starting point should be available to see how your portfolio is actually doing. Looks like it was developed years ago and not been updated. The best platforms and investment house apps now are so intuitive and have absorbed the tech side so well, this is still stuck in the dark ages.

I find it infuriating that I cannot get up to date Valuations and have to wait until the following day to review Performance.
From time to time I am locked out of the App for no apparent reason also.

Great summary of accounts
A good way to review a multitude of accounts. Clear visual and numerical statements showing all the important elements of the accounts. Could provide more than a years performance figures. Thank you.
Needs work
Two niggles stop this app from getting five stars.
Firstly - every time they update the App you have to re-enter your login credentials. Now this is a banking application so I keep those under lock and key, but if I’m out and the iPad auto updates the app I’m logged out of my data until I get home, re enter the credentials and the OTP. That’s an unnecessary PITA that no other app (banking or otherwise) features.
Second, whilst it’s nice to get performance over time details for investment portfolios it’s lacking the ability compare actual returns with fund benchmark numbers. That could be an oversight but the cynical me suspects it’s to shield the fund managers from any embarrassing truths.

Doesn’t work
Deleted and reinstalled several times. Does nothing. I was using it successfully for a few years but it’s busted now.

I've updated this review to 4 stars.
The earlier review detailed a variety of issues regards logging in, all of which have now been fixed. I can also use FaceID.
But support for landscape mode remains nonexistent. There's no real excuse for not properly supporting tablets. Yes, I could use the Rathbones portal on the web, but then I lose important features such as FaceID.

Can’t log in
Stuck at login screen. Again.

A breath of fresh air
Well done Rathbones Team! Great app, great UI, such a refreshing approach from the old system. Very impressed. I would love to see an easy to use API where I can draw my holding and transactional data into aggregator apps so I can check my full net worth from multiple portfolios from one place!
What I would like to see though is the buy price and buy date for each holding.
