No backup options
Moving to anew iPhone but can't logout. It's being installed as new device. And sudo increase price almost 200% for SudoGo. Originally, the app provided multiple free email addresses and phone numbers from the EU and North America. Short codes and OTPs worked without requiring a premium upgrade. However, the app switched to a pay model and removed these basic features. When I replaced my phone at Apple due to a repair, issues with Sudo began. For over four years, I sought help for a problem Sudo denied, deflected, and ignored even after another phone swap at Apple. Despite following numerous and absurd troubleshooting steps, Sudo failed to acknowledge their fault and ignored my requests for assistance. By 2024, I could finally log in again. Sudo never informed me that the issue was resolved, nor did they apologize or acknowledge the problem. I still using the same iPhone and same account from four years ago with Sudo. I won’t support this company financially due to their clear lack of professionalism and ethics.

Very Disappointing Experience
I signed up for MySudo because their website clearly states that the service is supported in the United States. I paid for a plan, created my account, and was successfully assigned a phone number.
By the next morning, I was locked out of the app with a message indicating that I was in an unsupported country—even though I live in the United States.
I contacted support and followed their troubleshooting instructions, including disabling my VPN and attempting to log in again. That did not resolve the problem. I exchanged several messages with support, but now I have gone three days without a response or a resolution.
What makes the situation even more frustrating is that I still haven’t been told whether my account will be restored or whether I will receive a refund for a service I paid for but cannot use.
I understand that technical problems happen, but leaving a paying customer locked out with no resolution and no clear communication about a refund is unacceptable.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend MySudo.

CAN’T CALL ON COMPUTER APP?!!!!
I signed up for 1 year, going to cancel once it’s done. Good app, but I HATE how we can’t call through the computer APP, only through the phone. It’s so annoying because I only work mainly off my laptop, and I need this to be able to text and call through my laptop. It forces you to use your phone only for text / call (which is hard when you’re in sales, because you need your PC)

I really like MySudo because it gives me more privacy and control over my personal information. I can have separate phone numbers, send messages, use different email addresses, and even have private virtual cards without sharing my main personal information everywhere.
It’s especially helpful for online shopping, signing up for services, or communicating with people when I don’t want to give out my personal phone number or email. Everything is organized in one app, and it makes me feel much more secure online.

Great start, privacy-focused and practical
I’m still new to MySudo, but I’ve really liked it so far. The privacy focus is a big plus, setup was smooth, and I’m glad there’s an iPad app too. I’m on the three-Sudo plan and have mainly used the phone numbers, which have worked well. I was especially impressed that verification codes autofilled just like regular texts. I also appreciated being able to turn off the Team Sudo updates and stop the more promotional notifications. Overall, a really solid start.

Looks promising, needs opt out
I’m new to the app and have been excited to get everything set up so I can fully utilize the features. The emphasis on privacy protections is really great. One thing I don’t like is the spam-like notifications. Since I haven’t activated a subscription yet, I periodically get notifications asking me to make a purchase. I don’t see any way to opt out of the marketing notifications in the app settings. The challenge is if I turn off all notifications in my iPhone’s settings app, then the app really loses some genuinely beneficial features.

Excellent VOIP & Customer Service
Very supportive customer service department and the app functions very well for calls and messages. VPN spoofed a location outside of the US and they were gracious and patient to work with me to unlock my account. Be aware of this with VPN usage, but highly recommend as I tried most every VOIP service and MySudo appears to be the front runner for ease of use and setup. Thanks sudo team! 🙏🙏❤️❤️

I used it a few times with online retailers. Then forgot about it. I recently reopened it and found my account was deactivated due to a TOS violation. I barely used it.

Many issues
I’ve been using the app for about a year and there always seem to be issues. For the longest time the app was ridiculously slow and didn’t play nice with my vpn no matter the settings. Now, text messaging hasn’t worked for over a week. I’ve sent emails to support and never hear back. The app says the messages are delivered but it’s a lie. You can’t reply on this service.

Terrible first impression
My first two weeks with this app were spent messaging two separate customer support email chains every other day because over and over, nothing would work, so every single step of setting this stuff up I had to message customer support. If you're in a hurry, definitely use something else.
Also, virtual credit cards can only be used with auto-fill. They cannot be used with Apple Pay or tap to pay.
