User reviews

Unreliable sync

Half the time my activities sync, other times they don’t and sometimes the activities don’t register at all. I moved away from the chest monitor to the paid watch app and it’s no more reliable. Should’ve saved my money.

Crashing

App keeps crashing when editing an activity to set the type. Not ideal!

Love it!

Created for competitive people. That’s why I’m here 🙌 It motivates, builds confidence and discipline, changes mindset and lifestyle overall. Shout out there!

Update now makes it crash constantly.

When trying to change the activity to a run, the app keeps crashing. Only happening since I’ve updated the app this morning.

FAQ

What does the Myzone app do?

The Myzone app is a social platform designed to motivate physical activity and fitness. It uses gamification and rewards effort over ability, allowing users of all fitness levels to track their progress and compete together. It fosters a sense of community and aims to make exercise habits stick.

How does the app reward effort?

The app utilizes personalized heart rate zones based on your maximum heart rate. By exercising within these zones, you earn Myzone Effort Points (MEPs). This system ensures that everyone, from athletes to beginners, can compete on a level playing field and be rewarded for their exertion.

Is the app free to use?

The app itself is free to download and use. However, to fully utilize its features, particularly the accurate heart rate monitoring and personalized zones, it is designed to be used in conjunction with a Myzone heart rate monitor. There may also be in-app purchases available for additional features or content.

What devices is Myzone compatible with?

Myzone connects through analogue, ANT+ and Bluetooth with gym equipment and Apple Watch. It also integrates with Apple Health to save workout data and biometrics. Furthermore, it supports integration with third-party apps such as MapMyRun, Strava, and MyFitnessPal.

Who is the target audience for Myzone?

The app is designed for anyone looking to make exercise a more engaging and rewarding experience. This includes individuals who want to track their fitness, participate in gamified challenges, join a supportive global community, or build their own fitness groups with friends, family, or classmates.
