Suddenly slow and unusable
The new update seems to have broken the app. It’s so slow even with short text translations. I don’t know what you did but change it back.

It does reasonably well. It thinks too hard with spoken words and wants to use more commonly used words similar to an autocorrect feature. It will start out with what you expect, then change it to a more common similar sounding words. With similar sounds from words like 쭉, 죽 and 죽, Papago wants to change them all to 죽.
It would be nice to turn off the autocorrect feature and have a feature that displays whatever is spoken. Have a pronunciation learning section as well.
Autocorrect is very helpful with complete words. Not always with word parts or word symbols.

Translate from image function no longer works
Just after the recent update, the transation from image function no longer works. A few weeks ago, I was translating passages of the same size and of the same word count in order to help me with my school work. The app cannot even recognise 4 written characters. The issue has been with Chinese(simplified) and I have yet to try it with other languages. Very disappointing since I have been using papago for almost a year. I loved it for its speed and accuracy, the ability to pick up the characters and pinyin from photos of printed and written text. Today, it no longer works.

저는 한국어 원어민입니다. 파파고를 태국어 또는 영어 인터페이스로 설정해서 사용하고 있는데, 한국어를 입력하면 자동으로 로마자 표기가 함께 표시됩니다.
한국어를 완전히 읽고 쓸 수 있는 사용자에게는 이 기능이 전혀 필요하지 않으며, 오히려 화면이 지저분해 보여서 불편합니다. 앱 언어를 한국어로 설정했을 때는 로마자 표기가 나타나지 않는 걸 보면, 인터페이스 언어에 따라 자동으로 활성화되는 것 같습니다.
한국어를 모르는 사용자에게는 유용한 기능일 수 있지만, 원어민 사용자에게는 선택 사항이 되어야 한다고 생각합니다. 로마자 표기를 켜고 끌 수 있는 설정 옵션을 추가해 주시면 정말 감사하겠습니다
