Useless

I'm as impressed with app as I am with the pension itself NOT AT ALL. App is useless and the pension (chosen by my employer) is running at a loss when every other investment I have is performing well. I'm almost hoping my contract ends so I can then transfer the pension to another provider.

Error Ridden

Awful app that keeps crashing when I’m trying to update personal information and beneficiary. I tried using the website but the same happens there. Stuck with it as the company I work for have chosen Nest as the provider!!

Not good enough, slow to load most of the time, sort it out.

Poor

It won’t even let me log into my account

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

I have been trying to transfer my pension from NEST to another pension provider and signed every document they requested for. Despite this, I keep receiving mail after mail telling me I must visit MoneyHelper before my pension can be transferred. This is 2026 and I have successfully transferred pension from other providers without any unnecessary delays or endless back and forth . NEST has made what should be a simple process incredibly frustrating and time consuming. I understand the importance of safeguarding customers I am not vulnerable and I am fully capable of making my own financial decisions. I have clearly stated that I want my pension transferred, yet the request continues to be delayed by unnecessary requirements.

Issues with login

Can login website easy, app I can login and then mystic-NIN needed. Writing my NIN- technical issues! This is day 3 I’m trying to login with no results

App does not work

App would be ideal for quick reading of letters but it doesn’t work

Never works

Always says 502 error

App Buggy

App and website are very buggy, keeps showing balance from a previous day and not the actual up to date balance…

Inconsistent Data

Come on app Dev’s… you surely can do better as ‘tis Seriously concerning when you regularly check performance and the data has jumped back to read what was a few days before or even week previous!! Then check the following day and it might be the balance on the correct day! Plus it’s so laggy loading data!

Works but lacks a lot of functionality

I had other pension providers pension app and they were so much better so much more functions (even basic ones like see what your pot is going to be worth when you get to your retirement age nest doesn’t habe that) app is laggy and sometimes it will just freeze.

Avoid

App is awful. The scheme is also not competitive. Avoid.

Seems good!

Some room for improvement but overall great to just see how much my employer and me are contributing. Great stuff.

Poor User Experience

The App gives me the most important information I want - my pension balance.

It would be useful to have more information such as the % change over the last 1,3,6 and 12 months.

Balance information is not always available on a daily basis and the app sometimes needs a second login. The App itself feels a little ‘clunky’ at times and not overly professional.

Does this app ever go through testing ?

Constantly hangs while trying to load your pension balance. Logged in today and my total is from a week ago. I get the impression the more they try to fix this apps bugs the worse it gets.
Doesn’t give me confidence in the business.

Lack of information on investments

I’ve been with nest for 7-8 years. In all that time it’s been impossible to try and easily find the performance of my investments. All I see is that it goes up or down, but by what percentage? Or what time frame? Projected final retirement pot? Without having to download certain fund document and do it myself. Nest must be the only provider that does this. I have pensions from 3 other providers and they are all much easier to use and provide much more information.

For that reason Im transferring my pension out. Simply not good enough in 2026

Edit: Why should I have to call your investment team to do such a simple task? Should I call them every time I want to check my pensions performance? Fidelity as an example has it displayed as soon as you log in. It’s 2026 not 2006.

App Failure

This app repeatedly tells me that the same credentials I am using to successfully log into the website are incorrect. I have followed the instructions, cleared the cash etc and it still fails to work. Based on other reviews this is an ongoing issue. Please sort it out.
