Since Google takeover, the app switches to Away when I’m not. Very clunky
Hard to contact
My camera has list some of it’s width, and doesn’t always notify me of movement. It’s been impossible to contact best to resolve. May need to replace.
Ca time??
I cannot change the time to my local UK time, it is always 8 hours behind! Big nuisance
Stop overriding my temperature!!!
Despite the fact that I opted out of Nest’s seasonal temperature adjustments I keep coming home and the house is 5 degrees warmer than I set it. Away settings are off and I’ve gone to great lengths to keep the house at a certain temperature. Stop being big brother and overriding the thermostat settings! I pay the bills, not Nest.

I hated it when google forced everyone with the older nest products to purchase new ones
They cut off support for older thermostats. So if you purchase one. You have to worry about loosing control over a product you purchase. The older ones worked perfectly fine and then all of a sudden. They didn’t work. I have lost all respect for this company and its support. Before you bought a product it would work

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
After using for many years now Nest app only allows me to login with Google which gives them access to unnecessary personal data from user, families email addresses and home devices. App no longer let me reset password and only allowed me to continue with Google so you’re forced to accept terms to give them your info otherwise it will not work which wasn’t the case before.

Can’t get consistent settings. Even though I set the temperature for 78 in the morning and thermostat shows 89, the heater still comes on.
Great/Reliable Product
We have had a nest thermostat for well over 10 years and it is definitely the most reliable thermostat we have ever owned. It does help us save money every year both in the winter and summer months.
Who’s in charge here?
Fighting with my Nest to control the temperature in my home is insane. Am I not the human who pays the bill? Furthermore, being uncomfortable while my utility bill is still high is frustrating.

Having two homes in two cities it is such a GIFT to be able to control and schedule temperature setting even when away anywhere you are!

Glitches on schedule view
Very disappointed with update that makes the schedule view glitch. Monday row is completely covered by to bar and scrolling is not possible. Sunday row is also covered by bottom bar. I have this app for ten years, never had this problem before
Availability of info
Able to see what is going on at the front of my house is important and relatively easy to access!
Scheduling
Cold air is always turning on because it always makes its own schedule up. I wish i could just clear the schedule and take control. Fix this!
Great product
I have the fire and co2 alarm. Have had it for several years now. Only changed the batteries in it once. Monthly sound checks. It’s nice that it talks and will sound an alarm if needed when you have young children that can hear what it is saying.
