It’s convenient but
I like using it easy to buy tickets and I don’t before we could use our cards this was good but a constant issue I have is that it never lets Apple Pay work. And it logs u out at random times. Like why is that I thing. Whatever recent update happened took my card off I was like let use Apple Pay doesn’t matter what card it just fails

Guess they don’t want money?
Tried to pay several times with Apple Pay. Transaction was denied each time. No, it’s not Apple or my cards. It’s this app.
Great app
I have been using this app since 2020 and never had any issues. It was great using NICE go mobile app when riding NICE buses but will stop using it since OMNY will be available on all NICE buses starting January 4, 2026. However, I will keep this app installed as a backup for just in case the OMNY reader on these buses suddenly doesn’t work.

Useless app
Apple Pay doesn’t even work anymore. I hate it here.
would rather walk
thank you nice for making your service so terrible it encourages me to walk places more
Trash
Can't get the app to connect to my apple pay. Wish NICE accepted OMNY, so user friendly
App keeps sending you to web
This app can use a lot of work. Want to look at the bus map? The link leads to the web. Want to plan your trip, again link takes you to the web. It wouldn’t be a big issue however the NiceBus website links don’t work or show on mobile.
This is extremely frustrating if you’re traveling and can only use a mobile device.

This app is DOG WATER
I’ve lived in Nassau county my whole life and have been taking the bus for well over 10 years. This app hasn’t updated in any meaningful way in those 10 years. Please if you’re trying to make it easier on yourself, just download the Transit App and you’ll have a substantially better experience
Drivers always never stop
leaving my several complaints in here do you the nice bus company making it literally impossible for someone to report a complaint to their website. your drivers have continually kept driving at several different stops i’ve gone to in the last 2 months. half your drivers are rude and are extremely inconsiderate of the people they claim to serve. the irony in the name is laughable because the last thing this whole company treats its customers is with nice service. i’ve lost all hope in this transportation service getting at least decent in the service they try to provide

No transfers to nyc
They dont give you a transfer for nyc
Useful, but could be more.
I’ve been riding the NICE bus and this app saves me a TON of effort. I used to use quarters and have a big sack of $2.75 in my pocket. Now I have the app, that is used & recognised on all buses, with two hour validation windows (for transfers), it’s pretty good. I only wish that NICE’s scheduling system was much better, and had live timetables inside the app.

Is anyone still using this thing?
I’m few months using this app. First time ever that i have been signed out of my own mobile app… why?! I may not use it everyday however, it is downloaded to my mobile which means only I AM using it to MY conveniences, correct? So, why was it when I needed it to catch a bus and when I went to make purchases I have to log/sign in? I do not walk around with my passwords attached to me for every fricking app, site etc.. APPS! Everyone is selling their APPS to you but Customer Service is another malfunction. No One Answered the “Customer Service” contact number! Wt_?! 😡

App o servicio?
O la app no muestra bien los horarios o el sistema de buses tiene un pésimo servicio. Especialmente la ruta N1 en Nassau .
Subject: Feature Request: Apple Watch Ticket Import
Subject: Feature Request: Apple Watch Ticket Import
Hi there,
I’m a frequent user of the Transit app for managing my bus and train rides. I wanted to suggest a feature that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience.
It would be fantastic if you could consider integrating a feature that allows tickets to be imported directly to the Apple Watch Wallet. This feature would simplify the process of accessing and using tickets for bus and train rides, making it more convenient for users like me who rely on the Apple Watch.
I believe this addition would not only streamline the ticketing process but also attract more users who prefer using wearable devices for their daily commuting needs.
Thank you for considering my suggestion. I’m looking forward to seeing the continued improvements to the app!
Best regards,

Antiquated App
The fact that you can’t use Apple Pay to buy the ticket through the app is kind of ridiculous. And the fact that they charge $3.00 is also ridiculous, considering with OMNY it’s still the $2.75 price when you tap to pay. These Long Island buses and their payment methods need a serious upgrade.
App cheats disabled people. Forces us to pay full fare.
I’m disabled and eligible for reduced bus fare and I’ve confirmed with this NICE. I’m already approved and there USED TO be an option to buy reduced fare bus tickets through the app. Months ago it randomly disappeared! And no, my eligibility didn’t expire. I’ve reported this to NICE multiple times for months, they’ve done nothing about it, and I’ve have been forced to pay full bus fare all this time. And if I do, so do other disabled people. This app cheats disabled people out of their reduced fare eligibility.

it’s okay
It works when it wants to. I haven’t been able to purchase a ticket in weeks. Calling costumer service doesn’t work either because of their options.
👎🏻
despite their name being nice their probably the rudest ever.
App works fine but they should really just have OMNY
Purchasing tickets is easy and the same functionality as the Long Island Rail Road. It’s just a shame they won’t accept Apple Pay / OMNY and join the rest of the modern world when it comes to paying for transit.
