Please do not delete the app
Hello Nike, for those of us lucky enough to have these ADAPT shoes it would be almost scamming your customers if you’re to delete the app completely. I understand you’re no longer continuing the ADAPT line which is a shame. But I love my adapt shoes and would hate to see the app go. The APP NEEDS to stay and I’m sure you’ve seen the other reviews as well begging for the same thing. Please reconsider in keeping the app functioning. Even if you’re not to update it, at least keep it working. Thank you.

APP GONE AUG 2024
So sure five years and there’s nothing to develop with this app so you’re shutting it down and pulling it?
Worse is you know that by doing this customers must manually work their shoes, with the exception of the shoe light patterns which just won’t be functional AT ALL. 🤬🤯😡
This isn’t at all acceptable. Are you serious? Adapt shoes no longer to be developed/released? Why not offer the API up for the app so other developers might be able to make their own alternatives which would include a more robust lighting pattern creator since you’re not.
But ultimately this feels like a bait and switch and total lack of standing by your product run which as charged at a considerable premium. Said premium that is, will no longer be relevant when in August 2024 you cripple the shoes to becoming disturbingly and obscenely overpriced sneakers on par with the rest of your “basic sneakers concepts”.
If this is your game plan then don’t count having a consumer base ready to take a chance on future forward, experimental or small market specific niche products after abandoning them for the total incompetence shown from this entire product development group. Nike has no business claiming quality and higher market value, many lower-priced shoe brands stand behind their products and respectful of their customers’ investments, Nike has become a money grap of far inferior collections of trash.

PLEASE DON’T RETIRE THE APP
Dearest Nike, please don’t retire this app on August 4th. To us ones lucky enough to own these shoes, it’s as close as we got to the novelty of owning the legendary Nike MAG from Back To The Future Part II. I understand we can still manually power lace our shoes but that’s nearly not as cool as everything the app can do. Things like auto-lace, lace by increments of 5, power-lock lace, and have an amazing set of Light Packs to display colors in 3 cool amazing sequences. I mean this is by far the coolest feature of the shoe! If the app is retired and we get a new device WE CAN NOT NOT USE ANY OF THESE FEATURES ANYMORE! Dearest Nike, please keep this app in the App Store. We’re not asking for anymore updates. Just please DON’T RETIRE THE APP! Another suggestion I have is to sell or give out a device for owners of Adapt shoes to continue to use these features. Something small so we can keep controlling the lights and power laces. Love you guys please don’t retire it or have something to keep all its features going 🙏

I having used my Adapts in a while so I tried to use them again and well I can’t login to the app XD. I TRY AND IT SAY “connect a shoe” I say cancel and it takes me back to the home page I login in again AND IT DOES THE SAME THING!! The worse part of this is I CANT continue with the shoes I own because it’s already connected to the app. Long story short I try to connect my shoes it won’t let me but I can’t connect my shoes because they are already connect. :D

Shoes unreliable
Here to tell Nike corporate that the warranty they normally use on shoes should not extend to this tech product. As a customer you have zero clue how long of a warranty you have on these shoes as the 2 years starts from manufacture date. Well guess what, morons, that’s not good enough for a tech product. Not only that but customer service will process your request for return, hold onto your shoes for 1.5 months then return them because the manufacture date was more than 2 years ago even though you bought them less than 2 years ago. That’s right- Nike corporate does not even record the warranty lapse date when ordering directly from Nike, leading you on an extended wild goose chase only to be informed your warranty has lapsed. I will be stealing heavily from your corporate owned stores from here on out due to this horrible experience I’ve had.
