Stinks!
Worst app. It doesn’t auto delete videos you have to manually delete or it will not record when full!
Notification Snooze PLEASE
I think the app is good and the most recent update is nice. Pretty easy to use. But PLEASE add a notification snooze where if I’m having party or something at my house I can tell it to stop alerting me of movement for 4 hours or something. Right now I just cut it off then I always forget to cut back on. Other camera apps like Ring have motion snooze and it’s great.

Horrible
App doesn’t load videos that my camera detects. It has not loaded a video in over 2 months this system is totally pointless it doesn’t capture any information of the videos
Salesman lie
Terrible service.
They sold me a thermostat that is proprietary to their app software. I can not access my thermostat schedule anymore after unsubscribing from Northstar.

Aweful stay away
The app and the company are crap worst security company I’ve ever worked with will never use them again. They don’t work with ai. They charge you for service visits to fix something and no one shows up I’m extremely irritated and hate this company
Garage opens by itself
I wanted to give Northstar a chance despite the reviews and it failed me. It was good a good start and we thought it was so cool. But on the first day of all the equipment being completely installed the garage began to open by itself. We informed our tech of what was happening and he replaced the garage system he stated it was due to faulty wiring. Issue was resolved so we thought…. Today is day 3 and now our doorbell does not work and won’t even ring (kinda ignored it). Got home and started doing laundry, took my dogs a shower, go to the garage and guess what? The garage was open and there goes my dog running away!!! That drew the final straw for me because behind my house is a very busy Main Street!! My heart dropped when my dog ran away thankfully he thought we were playing and ran back inside. I’m sad because I was excited for the cameras, doorbell, and lock but it’s not worth it to me anymore. RING HERE I COME.

Garage Door Open by its self and Door bell cámera is not working
They came to my home to change the garage system because it open up by it self and it did it today and my dogs ran out my home. We are also having issues with the front door camera it won’t work… I wouldn’t recommend if your trying to have a safe home

Would give less than 1 star if possible. Also, would not recommend North Star as a service as well! Horrible equipment and service all around.

It’s a great app, except when the doorbell detects someone at the front door, and the app won’t connect to it for me to view. It’s absolutely frustrating.
