I’ve had my system for like 7-8 months and I’ve had non stop billing issues as well as false alarms. They charged me a fee and I called to request my money back and they left me on hold for over 30 minutes and then said that I needed to call back another day because the representative couldn’t reach anyone in the department.

Outdated Equipment/ Horrible Technician Support; Equipment Replacement
Brinks Home Security is a sub par service that made a victim out of my mom, leaving out crucial information about her contract with Brinks and preying upon her being predominantly Spanish speaking. They locked her in at a rate of 71$ per month that has gone up to 80$ in recent years starting in 2023. The equipment at the time was OK at best, but after the doorbell stopped working after 8 months we tried contacting support to have it fixed and they never sent anyone, even trying to charge us 20$ for travel and a additional charge for service to replace it. Because they never sent anyone we have missed out on critical legal documents that have been sent to our house and I even failed to have my wallet returned after a person who found it rung our doorbell and then left around 7 am. The quality of the footage was also to poor for police to identify who had attempted to return my wallet. Please be very careful of door to door salespeople, if you have a loved one ensure you are there and have their back so they don’t sign up for things that they honestly could just buy off amazon and setup themselves with a little research.
