Apple Pay ???

Ever since the last update the app just doesn’t open anymore tried deleting and reinstalling but all the same

Hi, thank you for your review. The fix for this issue is prepared and version 8.46.0 is currently in the release process. Please note it can still take a few days to reach all devices. If you have automatic updates enabled, you'll get it as soon as it's available.

Limited payment methods

The cost of tickets in the app is less than paying in person. Except, there are only two methods of payment: credit card or through iDEAL-linked banks. Unfortunately, my Canadian bank prompted me with a security code sent via SMS, which I could not receive with my overseas eSIM. I was forced to pay in person, which cost €1,60 more. NS would do well to add methods like PayPal, Stripe, and other similar methods to accommodate international travellers.

This app represents NS rail and is an absolute worst experience- from buying tickets to saving and planning trips. Do they even bother to test and do some user acceptance testing???

Fix de opgeslagen reizen!!

De app was geweldig, maar het tabblad met de opgeslagen reizen is weg. Je kunt er nu alleen via het beginscherm komen, en als je door de lijst probeert te scrollen reageert het nauwelijks en opent hij telkens een van de reizen, en dan moet ik weer opnieuw beginnen van het beginscherm. Ik ben net 5 minuten bezig geweest om de onderste van mijn opgeslagen reizen te kunnen bekijken elke keer moest ik weer opnieuw beginnen vanaf het beginscherm. Degene die dit verzonnen heeft moet echt ontslagen worden wat een prutswerk. Ik open de app nu met tegenzin terwijl ik vroeger nooit klachten had!!

Good service

The online system works very well when ordering tickets. The rail network is fast and comfortable.

Rather stressful experience for a short visit

Not worthwhile for a first time visit to the Netherlands. Better order online or at the ticketing machine. This app might be good for local people and long term dweller.

Garbage app. Forced to download

Cant even travel without being forced to download the app

The notification is malfunction

Every time I pressed the notification button of a searched route, the loading circle keeps on loading and nothing happened. Same as the “save” button. It’s been couple months, so I cannot received any delay notification for my regular routes. I’ve tried reaching out to the agent, but the agent didn’t give me any useful instructions, claiming him not an iPhone expert. I don’t know what I could do now.

No Apple Pay

Doesn’t take Apple Pay!! DB, SNCF, Trainline( local NL trains not listed) Britrail Apps all take Apple Pay. Could be a great app for non Dutch Tourists but this is a deal breaker

Removed saved trips option from main bar

App is mostly good but they removed the saved trips option from main bar! I use it to check different train options and times. Now saved trips is deep inside the departures page and jt makes it very difficult to compare the different routes.

I don’t even use these other main buttons - who is checking all departures more than their specific train route???? And this map thing is so irrelevant??? The point of the NS app is to check the train routes.

Daluren prijs niet zichtbaar in app

Kan alleen de volle prijs zien en dat ik een 40% korting kan hebben terwijl ik de kast at heb. Mag alleen maar hopen dat ik inderdaad de korting krijg als ik met de OV chipkaart in check. Ook op de website kan ik geen kaartje in het vooruit kopen met daluren korting ondanks het feit dat ik ingelogd ben en die dat ik het daluren lidmaatschap heb! Elke andere website kan automatisch de juiste prijs aantonen of desnoods een korting code invoeren. Maar nee hoor de veel te dure over gecompliceerde MS kan dat dus niet! Wacht tijd aan de telefoon was 14 minuten i.p.v. de aangegeven 2 - 4 minuten…….

Loss of internet connectivity = loss of tickets. Why can’t you add NS tickets to Apple Wallet?

I would LOVE an Apple Pay option for purchasing tickets to ease international travel 2 factor authentication issues on a credit and debit card!

Very bad.

I searched for a connection from a nearest station for in 15 minutes. What I got, is a ticket for the next day from a different station. I thought I made a mistake but searching for another connection where I set the time for today, I discovered the app changed the time for tomorrow again! Moreover, it also changed my requested location. It makes you lose time and money.
