Good for finding train times. But no Apple Pay, so quicker to buy at station ticket machine.

GRONINGEN EMMEN ! Don’t correct !! The timetable in the NS app appears to be incorrect for bus 300.
At the bus stop, the electronic departure board shows that bus 300 departs every 30 minutes, but the NS app only shows departures once every hour. This discrepancy makes the app unreliable for trip planning.
Please check and correct the timetable so that it matches the actual departures shown on the stop display.

Tickets werden nicht bereit gestellt
Man kauft die Tickets, alles wird vom Konto abgezogen aber die Tickets werden nicht bereit gestellt. Man hat als Tourist keine andere Alternative und kommt somit nicht zum Gleis und zurück. Den Zug nehme ich hier somit nie wieder!

Absolute trash app. No Apple Pay and also in general, not very convenient
Bad design and non functional
It used to be fine, i even had the option to keep the old design. Now i am forced to use the new one, which isnt working at all. Its sluggish and when i go see earlier trains there are duplicate rows.

Unfortunately just a planner
Ticket cannot be downloaded in wallet. Cannot be either taken in picture to avoid internet connection (not everybody have local 4G/5G). Payment transfer you to another website. Too many “ supplier “ which may makes ticket exchange complicated. No local human support to help you in station (only hotline by phone). Few or No alternative proposed when things go wrong - which is very very frequent in NL train network

App is not working and customer service is not helping. If you buy tickets online on their site you cannot use them without app, you need to print them. If you want a refund, first you have to talk with bot and later people change on a chat like every 2 hours, so you have to explain your situation again and again.

Ever since the last update the app just doesn’t open anymore tried deleting and reinstalling but all the same

Hi, thank you for your review. The fix for this issue is prepared and version 8.46.0 is currently in the release process. Please note it can still take a few days to reach all devices. If you have automatic updates enabled, you'll get it as soon as it's available.
Limited payment methods
The cost of tickets in the app is less than paying in person. Except, there are only two methods of payment: credit card or through iDEAL-linked banks. Unfortunately, my Canadian bank prompted me with a security code sent via SMS, which I could not receive with my overseas eSIM. I was forced to pay in person, which cost €1,60 more. NS would do well to add methods like PayPal, Stripe, and other similar methods to accommodate international travellers.

Not good apple support
I can't pay for the ticket using apple pay, or add the ticket to my apple wallet.
I need to pay using card, but iOS doesn't recognize the fields as card numbers, so instead of using 1password to autofill the info i need to manually paste it. Makes the process of buying a tickey way longer than it needs to be.

This app represents NS rail and is an absolute worst experience- from buying tickets to saving and planning trips. Do they even bother to test and do some user acceptance testing???
