NXT RUN
Buggy
Response from developer
We're sorry. This was a bug on our end, it broke your account for about 12 hours, and it is fixed. For anyone reading this: a server update we shipped on August 4 wrote one corrupted record to one account. From that point the app could not load that one account's schedule. The bad data lived on our servers rather than on the phone. We found the cause the next morning, repaired it within an hour of hearing about it, shipped a fix so it cannot happen again, then checked every other active account and confirmed no one else was affected. We have been in touch by email since, and sent the remaining workouts and race day pacing over directly so race week did not have to depend on the app. It should not have happened, and it should not have been that week. If anything ever looks off, email support+nxtrun@enduranceapps.com and it comes straight to me and will get it fixed immediately. Brandon
Awesome
The first is the variety of runs it creates for each training plan. Each run has a specific purpose but even runs that appear similar, there is enough variation to keep things interesting. The runs are auto created based on your goals and syncs to your smart watch. You can view your planned runs out to your goal date ( if you have a race).
The second is modifying and customization runs if your schedule changes. You can easily drag and drop a run to another day. You can change the difficulty up or down which increases or decreases the distance/time/intervals. All of your changes seamlessly syncs to your watch. Super powerful.
The third is the AI coach. The latest version is crazy good. I have been adding more comments after my runs and not only does it analyze your most recent run but it remembers info from past runs and prompts you with additional info. It really does feel like you’re talking with a real coach - a coach that analyzes all data - HR, pace, weather, perceived effort and more.
Highly recommended. I have a super busy schedule and would never be able to develop a running plan let alone program my watch with so much detail. It’s like having a coach on your wrist.
