This app allows New York City residents to easily enroll in Child Support Services. You can submit enrollment forms, upload necessary documents, view a summary of your submitted forms, and access various child support-related forms. It also facilitates child support payments for noncustodial parents and allows viewing of appointments and notices for Cash Assistance clients.
Once logged into the app with your ACCESS HRA account, you can submit an enrollment form by answering questions about yourself, the other party, and the child(ren). If you have children with multiple individuals, you will need to submit a separate form for each. After submission, you can view and download a copy of the form.
Yes, as of December 2022, noncustodial parents can make child support payments directly through the app to the government or the custodial parent without any fees. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, PayPal, and Venmo.
Yes, the NYC Child Support - ACCESS HRA app is available for free. There are no costs associated with downloading or using the app for its core functionalities, including submitting forms and making payments.
After submitting your enrollment form, you will see a list of potentially required documents. Depending on the form, you may be prompted to return documents directly through the app by taking photos, or you will receive a list of documents to bring to court. An Office of Child Support Services staff member will also contact you to confirm information and required documents.
