Slow Application

Doesn’t allow input or edits of meals

Extremely limited

If you already know that grapes are healthier than M&Ms, you are too advanced for this program. The articles are simplistic, the content is meager, and the functionality is limited. The food tracker doesn’t even have calories. You can do better for free.

Log partial portions?

There seems to be a way to do it but it is unnecessarily obscure and complicated. Why isn’t there just a decimal point or ability to use common amounts like 1/2 or 1/3 right when you log a food item? I can’t use it this way.

Review

I enjoy taking this app, it is easy to navigate. I enjoy my health coach Bob. He is very kind and takes the time to get to know you and help you succeed.

They appear to have deleted my previous one star review.

A nonfunctional app which I have detailed in my previous (now missing) review.

Excellent

I really enjoyed Omada program, I was prediabetic and it helped me get my A1c back to normal levels. The coaches help to keep you accountable.

Just the Support I Needed!

Friends and family don’t really wanna hear about your weight loss journey… But at Omada, everyone there is dedicated to this and they are ready to help. My coach, Katherine, is amazing for one on one discussions. There’s groups to discuss whatever you need to discuss from whichever stage in life you’re in: from young parents to aging adults. The program includes a scale, potentially a blood pressure machine, and resources galore! Even IA chats, help you figure out next steps and offer up more precise information to meet your needs. All you need to do is get engaged and participate in your own health!

Great program

Great program I just need to figure out how to adjust portion sizes

Don’t rely on the nutrient estimates. The app can’t do basic math.

Update: 30 June 2026

The app is incapable of simple addition. Below is the protein and fiber I consumed for breakfast and dinner today, followed by the figures Omada came up with for the same meals.

Breakfast, what I ate
Protein - 56.35 grams
Fiber - 22.75 grams

Breakfast, what Omada recorded
Protein - 32.1 grams
Fiber - 1.8 grams

Dinner, what I ate
Protein - 51 grams
Fiber - 16.05 grams

Dinner, what Omada recorded
Protein - 44.4 grams
Fiber - 11.7 grams

I have submitted trouble tickets and Omada is ignoring this issue and simply refusing to respond with any explanation or timeline for correction.

Original Review:
1. AI repeatedly overwriting nutritional information I have entered and Saved with incorrect data.
2. No option to add food names or correct serving sizes. ( if I eat one slice of Colby Jack cheese I do not want to default to one cup of shredded Colby Jack)

The scale weighs and transmits but it’s been two days since the last time the app acknowledged receiving that data.

First two weeks

The first two weeks so far I have been given tremendous support and knowledge
My life coach is like an Angel that looks forward for me to succeed

Thank you

It’s so worth it if you’ll work it and DO NOT GIVE UP NO MATTER WHAT

The New Me!!

I’m absolutely loving this app. I have all my vital resources in one place. The group and individual support are the most important to me. They help you work on the inside, which reflects on the outside.

Health guidance and Health Coach

This program is great! I really like my coach. She is very inciteful and encouraging.

I love this app!

I enjoy reading the articles and applying them to my daily life to get the best out of my health I can. I like communicating with my health coach and other specialty coaches. They check in with me and communicate with me as often as I need.

Disappointing End to Program

I was enjoying having the scale to track my weight. My company paid for me to be a part of the program for 3 years. When I got new insurance Omada just dropped me with no notice. I found out when I wasn’t able to log in. Disappointing for a company that supposedly cares about member health.

Also, my initial support group was not interactive at all. Most of the benefit was weight tracking, which I can no longer do!

Stay healthy in a simple way

Omada shows many short lessons for me to choose. Written in a calming and understandable language. They make sense and definitely motivate you.

Really makes you revisit your habits: eating, exercise & sleep!

The dietitian is really helping me make better choices. Even when I don’t make good choices I see the difference in my energy level and whether I get good rest or night sweats from sugar crashes.

Can’t actually sign up

Go through the entire sign up process and verify email. Then it won’t let you submit the where you heard of this part which doesn’t allow you to move forward in the process. Terrible app.

App is no longer entering data from the scale

In addition to the following:
1. AI repeatedly overwriting nutritional information I have entered with incorrect data.
2. No option to add food names or correct serving sizes. ( if I eat one slice of Colby Jack cheese I do not want to default to one cup of shredded Colby Jack)

The scale weighs and transmits but it’s been two days since the last time the app acknowledged receiving that data.

New Tools

The program helps but has limitations. You can get all the data on why you’re failing but that doesn’t stop the cycle.
