I just had my first experience with Omio and it will be my last. I understood I could get my ticket on my phone but this is not the case. I have to go to a ticket machine at the station and use the provided code to collect a physical ticket. It is a journey costing €6.32 total for two people. This is old technology that Omio needs to update.

This is a great app. It’s clear to use, stores information well and is fast.
Terrible Customer Service!
My bus never came. The app offers no live updates. I walked the terminal to and fro, asked the information booth if she announced the Zadar bus. She did not. She assured me it would be on the side of the terminal where I was. Omio chatbot was not helpful! They kept me waiting 45 minutes to learn if my ticket could be credited for a later time. Then required me to call; the outgoing message was on Croatian. My only choice was to find a later bus via the Omio app. Sadly, theirs was the soonest bus, so no choice but to give them my money again.

Chat support is impossible to use
It’s very easy to book your trip on this platform. The problem is if you have any changes at all, the app will glitch out.
Try chatting with someone to help? It’s AI at first and then it tells you a person will pop in shortly. Well they can come around at any point in time up to an hour later, and then they close the chat because you didn’t reply in 1 minute. So you better stay by your phone!!

Scam
They charge you £5 to change your ticket time, which is normal but i paid £5 3 times and it always says “failed” after the payment goes through, they do not accept refunds and also they do not reply to emails. Have had to contact bank for a full refund very sh••t app.

One of the most reliable app for my international trips. Using it since last 2 years and experience is amazing

Good way to look for alternative travel options!
I like Omio because it shows me all: buses, trains, flights etc. Can easily add tickets to my apple wallet and the app is easy to operate

A trash app , very clunky does not offer translation and localization, the people of Europe speaks many languages it should support western and Eastern European languages and English
