Scam Artists
DO NOT use this service. They never show up and when you realize that theyre not going to show up would think to cancel, but when you do, you get charged $15+ so youre bound to either par the cancellation fee or wait for your grass to continue to grow long AND if you dont cancel and the grass gets longer as you wait for them to arrive at their own time, youre charge even more of a fee for cutting ‘tall grass’! This is a total scam! And dont forget to completely cancel services because if you dont, you will get a notice at the last second letting you know that mower are going to arrive soon, so when u do cancel, you get charged $15*! You become a slave to their system. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Also be sure to delete any payment you have on file and delete your account. This company is true pieces of greedy garbage.

Very Disappointed
Important message up front: Due to personal experiences I would not recommend OneNeighbor.
The vendor and service provider are unreliable and even after contacted the OneNeighbor support - they didn’t respond to the problem, zero actual response other than we received your ticket… more than 5 days.
Upon cancelling the service, while marketed on their website “no contract”, the company charged my credit card without approval. Beware. And yes the service was canceled before 12pm…

VERY Unreliable
I’ve used one neighbor on two different occasions, a few years ago and again now. And their lawn service providers are completely unreliable. Providers cancel at the last minute for made up reasons. My favorite is “equipment issues.” The old saying is true, “you get what you pay for.” You “save” money by using this service but get a ton of people that shouldn’t be in the lawn care business. I would not use the One neighbor again if you paid me.

Poorly designed app. Hidden charges
I used this app for the first time in July 2024 to get a lawn mower job done. Originally, the estimated price was shown at around $30. However, after all hidden charges, the final bill was close to $96. When I canceled future jobs they charge an additional $30. I rather stick to normal contractor, they are way cheaper.

Horrible and unreliable!
Don’t bother wasting your time. Takes days to assign a vendor, then either the vendor changes or they change the service date with no notice. Then they may or may not show up, again with no notice. EDIT: Then to make matters worse, they charge YOU when you cancel for THEIR no-show! They did refund the charge, thankful I don’t have to hassle with the bank and a chargeback. Run as fast as you can from this horrible company.

Very few services in my area - a well populated suburb of Dallas. No pest control, leaf cleanup, pool cleaning, other landscaping.
Basic lawn service cancelled 5 times over several weeks because “an equipment problem prevented service.” Really? 5 times? I was getting warnings from the city for code violations. Then when someone finally did come out, they cut the wires on one of my Christmas decorations. Because I didn’t report it in 48 hours, they won’t replace it. Not worth the effort to manage through the app. I’ll just find out who my neighbors use and do it the old fashioned way.

App is trash
It constantly crashes and I end up going online to do what is needed. The app is useless at this point.
Cannot Log into App
This app cannot log me in using my google sign in. It loops to the website and not everything available in the app is available on the website. Also, the vendors in my area are not reliable😩
Unreliable and a pain in the ***
The pricing is very cheap and that’s why I used the app. I tried it for a couple of years. The quality of the jobs was usually mediocre, but I was fine with that since it was cheap. The big issue was actually getting the yard mowed. Almost always the “vendor” would postpone the job and in the ap & the reason would be equipment failure or excessive heat(sometimes when it was only 80 degrees). Then when they show up it’s usually a very rough looking character that is unloading and old lawnmower out of the trunk of a car. THEN they charge double for high grass even though the reason the grass is high is because they didn’t show up to mow it in the first place. I finally cancelled the service and paid a reliable company more to do it. I hate giving bad reviews, but I’d say stay away.

Be careful
Be sure you check your yard before you let your animals out gate was left open my two pugs took off. Thank goodness for a wonderful community. Everyone got out and looked for them through messaging in Facebook. I found them both.

I have been using this service on an off for 3+ years. It has been underwhelming at best and neither makes finding service providers easier or less expensive.
Since adding services again at a new location, which requires a new login, I have had my lawn serviced at an increasingly inconsistent rate. I have been assigned and lost providers right and left. Ultimately, my grass is not being cut at an appropriate frequency to no fault of my own. I added a weed pulling service that was scheduled and rescheduled time and time again, only to lose the vendor.
I made the above correspondence to a “customer service manager” to which I was sent a copy and pasted guide to using the app. Poor execution, poor customer service. If I could 0 star this app I would.

Use the OneNeighbor app for lawn mowing and Christmas light install services. Simple and got service within 3 days. Will use for more services.

Signed up for mowing and it was simple and prices were much cheaper. Everything worked as advertised. Service is great.

Really liked the service & was happy with the grander assigned.
Not worth it
Last year we were fairly happy with them. This year it has been awful. Vendors not completing the jobs. Vendors not showing up. Just not worth the trouble.
Terrible customer service, sloppy work
They were always a week or three late to mow, and didn’t do the best job. Final straw was they broke a light and missed doing back half of side yard. Then charged me to have it fixed. Go with any other service.
