Keyboard doesn’t pop up on SSO login
You can’t input your password when logging in via an in-app browser (ex. for SSO) because no keyboard pops up. So you can’t log in to actually use the app. Insanity.
Doesn’t alert at all
Despite going through full app settings both on Atlassian’s server side and iPhone client, checking debug logs, reinstalling, relinking, etc…; many of my staff simply don’t get the push alerts. This is after 3 months of us monkeying around trying everything under the sun we could think of.
Kinda pointless app if it doesn’t perform its primary function.

No alerts
Does not give alerts despite having the correct settings. My IT could not figure out the issue and my cell phone provider was unable to as well. Both said it's got to be an issue with the app.
The future schedule calendar is hard to find
I have to click the hamburger menu and then the “you are not on call” text (no button or not a list option) to check the calendar. How unintuitive as I would have never found calendar had I not clicked on that text! You should show an option to show future schedules. Bad product design.
No Notifications
I’ve been having problems with them not notifying me about any alerts or when I’m on shift. Have to go in to see an incident if one exists.
Painful notification setup
After getting a new phone, alerts kept getting sent to the old phone. Needed to manage via web, couldn’t solve it in the app. For a tool that I need solely to send me notifications, it’s shockingly difficult to use and confusing.
Notification rules don’t work
Despite toggling notification rules for three different channels (SMS, iOS and email), none are recognized or working.

Missed notifications
The application used to send notifications for alerts through as critical alerts. This would bypass the silence on my phone and allow me to get important notifications in a timely manner. Now, if my phone is silenced, they just go through as normal notifications and I don't even hear them. On top of that the app is buggy and the user interface is terrible.

Since the latest update the push notifications to text are not functioning properly, needs fix.
Sound preview doesn’t work
Selecting a sound doesn’t play it.
Notification is not repeated as in PD if not acknowledged. It is a short sms like notification that is easy to miss in the middle of the night.
That’s so basic and essential that it’s hard to explain why it’s missing in a somewhat mature product.

Logging In is a Pain
Every time I need to log in again (i.e. forced logout for app update, new device), it’s frustrating to sign in on the app itself because it redirects the login to the mobile browser and then hangs on the app itself.
Alert volume

Nice app, useful to get notifications. some functionality hiccups or better say UX inconveniences :) but overall, good to have due to alarm notifications
Alerts Broken
Any alert that comes from Opsgenie results in a critical alert. Come on call, off call, alert commented on, whatever it is it’s a critical. Please add in the ability for us to categorize what alert is critical and what isn’t.
Also, with the latest update it won’t even sound the critical alert tone. It just raises the volume and sounds whatever tone you have for other notifications. Please fix this or better yet let us choose a custom ringtone for each notification type just like the Android app.

Using this for on-call schedules and it works like other reviews say but it’s not intuitive.
One of the annoyances I’ve dealt with is signing in to the app. If the app requires an update it will auto sign you out.
If you attempt to open the app, the app will redirect you to the web gui on your mobile device to login. Every attempt to use the app, it will redirect you over to the web UI.
The only workaround I’ve found is to clear your web cache and uninstall/reinstall the app.

Got stuck in some sort of login loop. Not great.
No way to sign in with SSO
My organisation uses Okta as SSO and I can sign into opsgenie in the browser but cannot find a way to log into the app.
