Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: AlertOps at 2.8 against Opsgenie's 2.1. AlertOps also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Opsgenie's advantage is ratings volume (122 vs 5) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
AlertOps holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Opsgenie has 122 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Opsgenie's written reviews are positive against 0% of AlertOps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Opsgenie ships an update every 3 weeks, AlertOps every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
