Dial up speeds in 2026!
I have shocking internet connection for over a hundred bucks a month.
I have a huge older style twin NBN box stuck to my wall. I recently asked ORIGIN if they could update this and they said no.
I placed wifi security cameras which are useless as my connection is so poor.
I wanted to check if I am running WiFi 6 or 7. Neither this appointment or the account one tells me.
I also suspect that the supplied modem is poor quality.
Will now cancel my Original internet and pursue Starlink at a cheaper price to see if it is better. Customer service is also important to me!
As a side note, I lived in Japan for six years 20 years ago and the internet connection then was faster than this Original NBN in 2026! Pathetic!

Unhelpful
Was directed by Origin Help to download this app because my modem was having trouble connecting to the internet. When trying to diagnose, it gets an error saying it can’t connect to the internet. That’s the whole problem I’m trying to diagnose. Frustrating and unhelpful.

Of course I KNOW there is NO internet Connection and I don't need this stupid app to tell me this.

Provides no useful information for troubleshooting, basically just says “go talk to one of our techs.”

I was told by Origin they can’t book an NBN appointment without first running a scan. I have no internet connection so I try to scan and it just says no internet connection and doesn’t give you an option to book NBN or assist in any way

Does not assist in any way. If you can connect to the internet it may help but the problem is no connection

‘Unable to connect to the internet’ option just tells you that you’re not connected to the internet…
Refund requested
I was looking at this app as my current origin app suggested it to manage internet… while I was trying to download suddenly $72.96 came out of my account from the Apple Store. I cannot see anywhere where I was being told the price - but I certainly did not agree to this. Can I please be refunded.
