If you’re like me, you may be weighing the cost of coparenting counseling against trying this app first. I wish I had understood the pricing more clearly before signing up. Both parents have to pay separately, and the only option is an annual subscription. Together, that came to almost $400 for us, roughly the cost of two coparenting counseling sessions, which have been far more effective.
This was a significant expense during an already difficult financial time. There is a 30-day refund policy, but realistically, while navigating a divorce, I simply didn’t get around to requesting one within that window.
More importantly, the app just wasn’t practical for us. It was too easy to miss important messages that needed attention in real time. In retrospect, I wish we had put that money toward coparenting counseling instead.

Even though my ex doesn’t want to use the app. I keep everything here. Any questions here, concerns here, keeps everything here and you don’t need to go searching for it in emails or text. Makes it all very easy
Calendar does not give monthly scheduling options
So the calendar does not let you program in options for a parenting schedule that isn’t weekly. It has no monthly scheduling options at all.
For example, my schedule is to generally have my kids Monday after school until Friday school drop off, with my ex generally having them Friday after school until Monday drop off. That part it could handle.
However, I also get the kids every third weekend of the month, which is impossible to program in, because there are no monthly options for interval.
My ex also gets the kids the first two Mondays of each month, which is also impossible to program in.
As a result, the calendar function is worse than useless.
Please update it so people with monthly intervals can use your app.

Hate this app
I can’t imagine why anyone would choose this app if not forced to by the courts. There is no free version and it’s an absolute ripoff to parents who have no choice in selecting a communication method. There is no convenient chat feature. No streamlined text style message thread. You’re basically paying to write each other emails and have no format choices to do anything different. It’s inconvenient, slow, and frustrating. I absolutely hate messaging this way. Being forced to use this app has made communication HORRIBLE. What a ripoff!!!!

I am very happy with the service provided by OurFamilyWizard. Every time I have needed assistance, I have received excellent support.
In the past, Tony assisted me in Spanish, and he is truly an incredible person and an outstanding professional. He always speaks to me calmly and respectfully, with a genuine desire to help me find a solution. He is extremely polite, patient, efficient, and professional. More recently, Nancy has also been assisting me in Spanish, and she has been wonderful as well very patient and always willing to help.
Unfortunately, many of us who use this application deal with difficult co-parenting situations on a daily basis. Having a support team that is patient, understanding, professional, and efficient makes an enormous difference.
Over the years, I have seen OurFamilyWizard continue to grow and improve, adding more and more tools that make communication between parents easier.
There is one feature I would really love to see added in the future: the ability to record or display the location from which a video call is being made and where the child is located at that moment. For parents who share parenting time between two households, this would be an extremely useful and important tool because it would allow us to know where our child actually is during the call. I believe this could provide greater peace of mind, transparency, and security for families using the application.
It would be amazing if this feature could be implemented someday.
