Hot garbage

Feels like the 1990s

Update yet

Still can’t read the ridiculous small fonts. Anyone over 40 work at PD? Maybe test it on them in the middle of the night

Terrible UI

This app was obviously designed by someone who has never actually ever on call and who must have perfect 20/20 vision. We have been forced to move to PagerDuty from another popular service that does the same and ignoring all the other issues that make this service vastly inferior the UI is atrocious. If you are woken up at night and have to actually read what’s on the screen good luck! Even my glasses don’t help at 2am. Event names are truncated so you can’t see the full alert name. Then it's a game of find it in the teeny tiny fields from the rest of the data. There are so many other issues that will probably be ignored, it not the developers fault it's the product design team. There are better alternatives to this product for sure.

ack button and text is so small

why is the ack button SO SMALL when it is an extremely important thing one needs to find when one is being woken up at an ungodly hour for a very important alert??? why doesn’t the font respond to the native iOS text size increase?? please get a capable UX designer to give your app a proper analysis.

Sooooo buggy

Uninstalled because of battery drain. Then when I did need to reinstall it won’t accept my MFA credentials, it keeps writing with a code that indicates a password is needed. I don’t get an option to enter a password, I’m setup with MFA and passkeys.

Let me login with 1password

Brain dead devs

Devs are doodoo brained

Trash

This app is trash. Everyone here is forced to use it.

Font sizing issue

Critical message font size doesn’t adhere to system font preferences (or even an app preference) to make larger - which means poor devs responding to 3am pages cannot read tiny text without stumbling around to find their glasses and waiting for eyes to adjust.

Unable to change alert sound

Always get this error when trying to change sound in app:

Error Setting Sound
Sorry, we couldn’t set your sound because we encountered a connection error. Try setting the sound again.

I’m choosing iOS tones and still no joy. Very annoying.

I haven’t seen any zero connectivity issues.

The widget is clutter

The widget should be able to give the best info at a glance, it is specially missing how long until next on call starts, gives a better idea than showing only dates

Stop waking me up

At night

Stop review begging

This is a mandatory app for work and having review begging pop ups is 10x annoying. If one popped up when I was trying to resolve an incident at 3am I would make it my personal mission to make my company stop using pager duty if I had to roll some open source solution together by hand. STOP.

Terrible UX

Looks like engineering designed it. Confusing mess.

Cannot change settings

I am literally unable to go to change my notification sound settings. Clicking the settings makes the entire app unresponsive and I’m forced to force quit out of the app.

Edit: reinstalling the app fixed it??

Missing basic functionality

PG doesn’t allow custom sounds for emergencies.

Overpriced garbage

Complete garbage. Orchestration rules are much worse than global event rules. Now they ended support even for previously creates event rules and forcing to use the orchestration garbage.

Poor Privacy

I’m required to use this for work, like most users I’d assume. This makes their in-app tracking particularly egregious.

Contact info, identifiers, diagnostics, user content, and usage data are all tracked. It’s pretty disgusting.

Feature Request

My use a custom sound for emergencies and Pager Duty doesn’t allow adding anything outside of the default iphone sounds. Please add this ability to PD. Thank You
