Great place to donate!
Phleb Theresa is always on point with providing the least amount of pain when inserting the needle. I always tense up when someone does it but she provides a calmness and confidence that it’ll be fine. The facility, including the bathrooms are always cleaned. If you’re interested in saving lives this way, Parachute is a great choice.

I love the center and the staff so much
Cortavious Parker helped me today and he was the nicest person. He kept making sure I was good and asking me how I was feeling and it’s because of him and others like him I will continue to come here. He really went above and beyond and made me feel safe and comfortable and we laughed and talked. I had a 10/10 experience and forgot I was even donating lol

Good service but two are tops
Janet and Savannah are amazing they go above and beyond what is expected and show how much they luv what they do. Great experience over all but these two are top notch. Thanks for making it a great experience.
Management Personnel
Male manager was in a bad mood and he pretty much let everyone in the center know. I understand that things happen, but it’s an open concept and everyone can hear what is going on. He was rude with the staff.

Staff is fantastic. The only thing I wish is the windows at the Wilson location when you donating the sunshine right on your face they have them frosted, but the bright light still gets through and it’s hard to keep your eyes open.

Clean, pleasant, efficient
I’ve been to donate five times now, and the staff are super pleasant and focused. Everything feels fresh and well-maintained. Aside from the first visit where you get a training and a physical, I’m always out within an hour from start to finish. That’s an important piece because I think *technically* some competitors offer a higher base pay, but you’ll spend HOURS in their waiting room. Scheduling through the app offers you several 20 minute windows for checking in, and you get a pay incentive to arrive within that time. I’ve seen the chairs nearly full with virtually no waiting because the place is running like a well oiled machine. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a low stress, low barrier side hustle

App needs HELP
I downloaded the app last fall but never went to donate. I downloaded it because I wanted to see what Parachute was and afterwards I deleted the app because I was not interested. However Since the original download back in September I have moved and decided that perhaps donation would actually be beneficial for my wallet:). The app though shows Im donating in a city that is 2 hours away, but the plasma center near me is only 10 minutes up the street. The app refuses to let me make any appointments unless it is at the 2 hour away center. This is super frustrating!

Good experience
The energy is always relaxed and makes you feel as if you’re wanted, and supposed to be there. I enjoy coming in for all aspects of the process: knowing that I’m helping someone in need. Taking care of financial shortfalls, and a needed talk with who over takes my vitals. Even though it’s just for some moments, it makes a difference. Thanks you guys.

You truly have the best staff. They are very knowledgeable, kind, and very considerate. Every staff member I’ve come in contact with is very skillful and professional while also being gentle and giving a good experience while donating.
Window in lobby
The donation service and the technicians are great. The only thing is when it’s very sunny outside is straight through the window and there’s no tint on the window so it blinds you and everyone who can see it
Outstanding performance by Charleston staff!
All the Charleston people are so conscientious accommodating, and do their best to not only make you feel comfortable when you’re checking in but to get it right on the first stick and then make you feel like you are cared about throughout the process. Give them all a raise!

Had a physical prior to the donation today. Staff was friendly and I remembered that I’m ticklish lol. Staff member doing the physical recommended I try my left arm since the vein was better and my right vein is apparently crooked. Donation seemed to go faster and have less pain (only the initial stab this time around) and though it felt weird using my left arm, I think I’ll donate with it again in the future. Staff is friendly and efficient, would recommend

Been donating for a year and a half and as usual Deena is awesome! She always does an amazing job stocking me, literally never had an issue when she does my stick. She’s always friendly to the donors and it eases a lot of peoples nerves. Deena, 5 stars, always.
Great experience
I love this center. Everyone is so professional and they really get to know their clients. Aiden is amazing! Destiny and Brooke are also wonderful! My last donation had a long wait time, but the donation itself was a good experience with the speed. Aiden did a perfect stick per usual.
