Useless
Although this app is a comprehensive and better organized version of the website, the people that respond to open tickets take several weeks and ultimately don’t follow through with anything and give rude gaslighting answers followed by extra charges. It’s just a money leeching addition to the greed of Pasadena. I’m very disappointed with this system and this city.

Pasadena Citizens app (CSC)
The app used to work great. You submitted a request and it was handled. Lately you are not able to upload a photo. Also - the request is closed immediately without the item being handled. Now the app is missing the track request menu so you can’t see any status. My app is up to date but this is very clunky. Also - do not close items/requests when they are not addressed. That defeats the whole purpose of a citizens app.

Useless so far
I haven’t been able to use it as it just hangs a long time every time I try to start a request. Same thing happened when a first opened and it was painfully slow. I hope they fix it!

I have been using the app on and off for over a year, as an ordinary citizen with no ties to government. It works - the city has promptly addressed every problem I've reported, mostly problems with the streetscape - paving, lights, signs.
I wish one could upload more than one photo in a single report. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Best App for Pasadena!
I love this app. It makes it easy to report many types of issues to the city. From broken stop lights or street lights to pot holes or barking dogs, with a few keystrokes, you can report an issue to the right part of the city government. Your report includes the street address of the issue, its location on a map, an optional photo, your name, phone, and email address. Then - and this is really cool - the city sends you a thank you email and then sends another email when the issue is resolved. I have reported 16 issues in the last year, and they have been closed in 10 days or less. Some within 24 hours!
