Upgrade from old model portion pro rx
I love this new feeder, except for a update needed. So much quieter. However please make it possible to have two rfid tags assigned to each feeder. I have to have the option to block other rfid chips off because the RFID chip in their neck only works sometimes so I had to use the RFID tag on their collar. So if I had the block other rfid on, and it read their neck chip it would close on them.

Feeder is fine, app less so
The app basically functions, but it’s missing a lot of key features such as feedback letting me know if food was successfully dispensed, especially for the quick-feed function. I have to rely on sound notifications from our cameras to be sure. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to view a list of paired microchips. And lastly, customizable notifications: being able to choose which notifications you get would be helpful. I’d also like to be able to set up persistent notifications for low food /expired desiccant bag, and other important warnings.

Needs update
Notifications confirming that dispensing has actually been completed are essential. When I'm away from home, whether I schedule a feeding or use “feed now,” I have no way of knowing if the food was actually dispensed, which is very frustrating. Since there’s no camera, this is a must-have feature.
Works well so far!
So far so good! A huge upgrade from basic automatic feeders, but I love all the options the app provides. Wish there was a door timing option for “open mode” since it stays closed for quite a while when another cat comes by. But the app seems to work great and pairing was very easy.
app doesn’t work 99% time
I have two of their feeders and the app regularly doesn’t connect to or see the feeders. they are on 2.4ghz network. everything as they should, it simply doesn’t work and the app is often unresponsive.
when i can connect to the feeders you can’t edit their feeding plan at all the UI doesn’t even work. it’s like absolutely no one tested this app or its functionality and I am software engineer by trade. this app is rookie stuff and its not even done correctly. honestly a disgrace and i can’t recommend this company or any of their products to anyone because they do no take ownership or responsibility of their app. It doesn’t Take an A+ dev team to code a schedule /calendar.

Great product and app
Amazing product. Easy pairing with the 2 cats. Just wish I could turn the display off. Also being able to change schedule routine just for the day would be great
Notification Customization Needed
PLEASE add some ability to customize what notifications get received. I don’t need to know every time one of my 3 cats eats. I want to prioritize notifications of low food levels, food/door jams, etc so I can deal with them right away. Right now, those notifications just get buried amongst the hundreds of notifications that a cat ate. Thanks!!!

It is ok - Needs updates
The app is OK definitely need to change up what notifications we can ask for I don’t necessarily need to know or be notified every time a cat eats but I do want to know if they haven’t eaten so it would just be nice to customize because I get a ton of them saying they’re eating and I have to keep that on in order to get the notifications that they’re not.

Does all the basics right
It’s more basic than the rest of the smart pet apps but it has the fundamentals down right I think. I would like more control over the notifications. Like knowing when an unauthorized pet tried to eat from the food. Or having some notifications, but then not other notifications. It would be nice if I could change the brightness of the name plaque, as I don’t want it off but it’s a bit bright. I take a star off only because I think it could have more features but what is there I think is solid

1 out of 3 cats cannot access the feeder
I don’t know if it’s the new update or what because my other two girls do just fine. But my third who has both a microchip and now I’ve put the RFID on her collar cannot access her feeder. (The microchip was paired, I unpaired, attempted to pair the RFID and cannot get that to work.) 5/5 stars once she stops having trouble.
The feeders are extremely convenient and don’t take up too much space. They come with a stainless steel bowl, which is a very welcome change from other microchip feeders. Two of my cats find the feeder to be extremely easy and have zero issues with. The app is easy to use and understand.

Great Upgrade from PortionPro Rx
The app is very easy to use, and the machines have been working great for my two cats. I recently bought two new microchip feeders, and the setup was smooth and quick. As a former PortionPro Rx user, I’m really glad PawsPik made this upgrade!
Unreliable
We bought 2 of these feeders and they don’t work properly. Each cat gets paired to a specific feeder and the device doesn’t recognize which one approaches, so it opens and closes at random. These feeders simply don’t work properly
Must-have Upgrade!
Upgraded from the 1st-gen feeder to the new microchip version. Couldn’t be happier so far!
Setting ‘do not disturb’ hours to prevent unnecessary door open/close is fantastic.
One update I’d like to see in the future is a dark mode for the app.
