Clunky
Finding a store other than the one that is closest to where you are at the moment is a Herculean task. Most apps will give you a list of several of the closest stores. Not this one, it locks you into the closest one with no clear way to find others. I ended up having to scroll through a map and when I was in a precise enough location, it granted me the privilege of telling me if there was a store nearby. Sometimes, when you're heading out somewhere, you don't want to know where the closest Peet's is at the moment, but what's closest to where you are going. And God forbid you should want something other than half cat. For example, if you just want to add a shot of decaf, or caffeinated, you can't do that in the app. You can walk into the store and do it, but not in the app. All you can do in the app is order half caf. What's the point of that?

So bad
I really love the coffee at this place. No matter which location I go to, the coffee is consistently better than Starbucks.
However, for the past month, the issues with the app have been absolutely infuriating. There is a constant 2–3 second delay between tapping a button and the app actually responding. It is extremely frustrating and makes the app painful to use.
On top of that, for the past month I haven’t been able to make payments through Apple Pay at all. I logged out of the app hoping it might fix the problem, and now I can’t even log back in because I keep getting an error message saying that “something went wrong.”
How can an app for a company like this be this broken for an entire month? I contacted customer support, but received no response whatsoever.

Preset Order?
In this day and age, why can’t you view the menu and get an order ready without choosing a location? Or choose a location even though it is closed. I understand that the items may be available when the location opens but those who want or need to get a cart ready (even with just a black coffee) to not be able to is a bit ridiculous.

App glitch
I really enjoy the Peet’s app and when I first enjoy, I think a year or so ago it did have a lot of glitches where I either added money or try to order and it would not put it through, but it took the money thankfully I did and was able to contact support. They were very kind they refunded the ones that went through and you know reassured me that I will get the money back for the ones pending the second thing that I would say about the app was that when I first got the app my points or rewards were not updating at all and I think I used it for like a spam of 6+ months I wasn’t using it as frequent so I didn’t really think anything of it but I believe like when I talk to them, you know they were expressing like they’re those glitch out sometimes and any reward concerns. I can just call customer service. Which I didn’t. I was being lazy but I think one random day. I just ended up getting like over 200 300 and since then the reward system for Peet’s has always been top-tier. I never had that problem ever again lately I have not had the problem with ordering but other than that that’s pretty much its amazing coffee place I love it. It’s refreshing. The app was a little glitchy, which is I gave it a four stars :)

Be customer friendly
App should include some sort of notification for when Peet’s is going to remove account and remove points. I’m notified about all the deals but my over 300 points disappeared and my cash balance disappeared without any notification. Seems like a simple thing to do. Your points are about to expire notification.

Order ahead works about 1 out of 5 times. Always glitches for various reasons at time of payment. Extremely inconvenient

Coffee app works like you’d expect
The app works like you would expect. Can order food and drinks for pick up or delivery. Can earn rewards points for discounts. Some other features. No recent problems.
