Pension Bee tries to make it easy to combine your pensions from various Pension sources.
It would be even easier to transfer your old pensions to Pension Bee if they asked you for copies of your appropriate documents eg. Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence, National Insurance Number and all the reference numbers from the desired pensions you desire for Pension Bee to start the process required.
They depend on you to do most of the work to communicate to your Pension providers to send them the required copy documents. Eg. If you have 5+ old / pension accounts, you’ll have to contact all of them individually, to provide the relevant information and documents. However this isn’t a negative thing, it’s just at present, the Pension Bee’s working model.
Recommendation: Pension Bee should change its working model, and acquire the permission, communication / documentation from you, then send this to your old present Pension Providers. It is the right thing to do, moving forward. Otherwise, the transfer to Pension Bee could be delayed for months, no progress being made, and is expected until you do what is needed, with your present Pension Provider(s).
Pension Bee are very professional and very friendly, and I will be monitoring my Pension Pots performance when all my Pensions have been completed / transferred to Pension Bee.
I’m looking forward to work with Pension Bee, hope my Pension pot grows higher than my previous pension plans. I’ll bee watching this closely as I want to make tons of honey sorry I mean money, for my retirement :).

Login is quite difficult
Trying to login and the app keeps buffering

The app is easy to use and clearly shows credits and debits and performance. Withdrawal is easy too with a set of questions to make sure the holder knows the consequences.

App is well designed and simple. They merged all my pension I had about 5 to merge. Just be aware it’s an expensive pension so shop around 0.7 is quite high annual fee

Every time i contact pensionbee either by chat,telephone or email I get a quick response. Issues have always been resolved in a professional and polite way. Best service I have experienced.

Seems ok, however, keeps crashing.
The app and the user interface seems easy and friendly to use, however, when adding pensions the app keeps crashing. I have tried closing the app and reading the pension, and still experience the same problem.
Pensionbee made it easy
A very old workplace pension that wasn’t digitised has just recently been transferred to Pensionbee with the minimum of fuss. The whole process was relaxed and stress free.

Nice but pointless calculator
The calculator is visually appealing but it only shows nominal amounts, no growth and no inflation adjustments. It’s pointless.
Broken app
App stopped working a while back now… possibly a couple of weeks or more. Click on it and it just hangs without going through the Face ID check. Latest IOS installed.
Slow to show funds
The app shows that funds have been received from my pension provider a few days ago but are not yet showing as invested.
Fantastic company
Been looking into pensions for self employed and found it was a minefield out there, then I got recommended Pensionbee! Absolutely fantastic service, any questions/worries that I had, they answered and put my mind at ease!
