Non functional
Been using this for awhile and it doesn’t work reliably. It drains your battery like crazy, is full of bugs and GPS dosent track properly. The design looks clean but what’s the point if it dosent work. Also specific things like how clients have to individually request / you approve each one are silly, clients can’t go back to see total due either after booking nor can you see it. This app is more a time suck than help at this point. Only two stars because the team seems nice and is responsive but look elsewhere for pet software.

Terrible updates, service
The new updates are abhorrent. Destroy battery life, needless features, and extremely inconsistent gps tracking will kill your business. Use another app
Almost there
Despite its clean UI, it presents challenges within booking updates, messaging, customization, & report retrieval or should I say non-retrieval hindering its effectiveness. Switching to yet another software can be complex and 100% confidence in its suitability for my business. I hope the company addresses providers requests and makes advancements, as the foundation is solid. Increasing monthly subscription cost by a fraction would be justified and/or providing options for APIs, lowering clients processing fees from 5%. Other softwares are beginning to catch up or surpass Petpocketbook & I would hate to see it be a thing of the past. This is run by a small team that always responds and from what I’ve read about other pet apps- it doesn’t even compare. That is one thing I do love.

Super convenient for customers
I really like this app for my small business. Very professional and easy to use. Customer support is top notch too.
Billing options
It’s unfortunate that there’s only the terms for billing allowed whatever pet pocketbook offers instead of a client paying per service. Let’s say it’s multi day overnight booking. It’s broken up into either daily weekly biweekly or monthly so if the service crosses over in between any of those their invoice is broken up so then I have to go in and do it manually and to me it’s just giving me more work than necessary. Also not very customizable. In addition to that, it would be nice if the management on the owner of the company could go in on the backend and resolve issues instead of needing to contact the company. I’m on the fence if I will stay with this platform. There are many things I don’t like for instance how report cards and appt changes are sent as messages to the client. It’s frustrating that provider cannot delete or edit internal messages as well.

Love the app - Just can’t see requests!
We absolutely love that there’s an app version of this now! For the most part everything works amazing and it seems to be a lot smoother than the website version. Our only complaint is none of our team can seem to find our pending requests. They still show up on the web version just not the App version, so just something to note to fix! We understand it’s new and will take time, excited to start using it though!

Viewing and managing appointments, including appointment requests, is not currently available in this version of our app, but will be added in the future! In the meantime, businesses can manage appointments by using PetPocketbook on the web. Thanks for the review!
