Worst update , many feature are gone now due to stopage of online storage subscription

After company stoped service of online storage even if i have SD card in camera , your camera machine not able to record continuous recording, its store 1 or 2 mints video recording and then stoped, this is really worst application and this developer is third class

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience after the online storage service was discontinued. We understand how frustrating it is when features you depended on are no longer available, especially when you expect continuous recording to work with an SD card. Likewise, we appreciate you sharing your concerns and understand your disappointment with the current app experience. If your camera is only saving short 1 to 2 minute clips despite having an SD card installed, please ensure that the SD card is correctly detected by the camera and that continuous recording is enabled in the settings. We also recommend formatting the SD card through the app, updating the camera firmware to the latest version, and confirming that the SD card meets the recommended requirements. If the issue continues, please contact us at philipshomesafety@versuni.com and provide your camera model, firmware version, and SD card details, so we can investigate further. Your feedback regarding the impact of the cloud storage service discontinuation has been shared with the relevant team for review. - Philips Home Living

App needs improvement.

The app lags most of the times, even when its urgent to check the live feed or to view the latest events, it will take its own sweet time and sometimes won’t start at all, then we have to quit and relaunch the app which honestly is quite frustrating. Secondly, the app logs the user out of the account multiple times on its own. Thirdly, please add a Dark Mode for the app. Apart from that, the live camera feed is decent.

Response from developer

I'm saddened to hear about the lagging performance and unexpected logouts, especially when accessing live feeds or urgent events. Your suggestion for a Dark Mode is also noted and appreciated. I'm glad the live camera feed meets your expectations, and I share your comments with the team for improvements. Regarding the lagging and unexpected logouts, kindly share your device model number and a screen recording the issue to philipshomesafety@versuni.com Thank you, Philips Home Living

Feedback

Currently while viewing video event if you unmute the video it will have audio, though when you clean next or previous video event to watch, even though video shows unmuted there will be no audio, unless you mute the video and unmute it again. This needs to be fixed

Worst experience after recent upgrade on aug 2025

Very disappointed with recent upgrade where i have to again add devices back in the app by pairing them again.
I have 10+ philips devices and some at good heights in the outdoor. The purpose of the cameras was to cover all areas around my house and to have a security view for my old parents. How will my old parents reset the outdoor camera. Note - they live in rural areas. I will change the setup once and look for other manufacturers who will not trouble with such upgrades in future.

Response from developer

It's heartbreaking to hear that you're unsatisfied with the recent update and understand the inconvenience of the critical update has caused, requiring you to reset your multiple devices. I know how challenging this must be for your parents to reset multiple devices on their own especially, that you're physically unavailable. To resolve this, please reset up your device once you return home. I appreciate your opinion as well, and will share it to our team. Thank you, Philips Home Living

Unable to add users to home camera feed

I had to update my app today as Philips stopped its cloud service and made updation mandatory. I did not have any problem while updating and re syncing the app with the two cameras I have but now I cannot add others users. Earlier I had given access to my cameras to other family members but now when I click on ‘invite users’ after entering their email ids, the invite does not go. In the home management page it shows Um er of pending invitations but none of the invitation goes to my family member’s emails. Please sort this issue out soon.

Response from developer

I understand the inconvenience of not being able to re-share home access with your family members because the invite link didn't go through. Please be advised that the issue with share link generation was related to our service partner, and should now be resolved. Please try sharing your home access again. Thank you, Philips Home Living
