Good coffee bad app
In 2026 I challenge anyone to find another app that crashes so often and has as many bugs - all for ordering a cup of coffee. Incredible. Such a terrible app
Does not work!
This app worked long enough to get me close to a reward then it stopped working. I emailed the developer the email bounced back. I emailed Philz, no word on the app or my prior orders.
Terrible app
Great coffee shop. Terrible app. App makes you choose location when you open which is annoying if you are at store in person. It logs you out, re-log in too often.
In app promotions do not get scanned but codes put in that are glitchy.

Unusable in its current state
The navigation is terrible but the real problem is the app not updating your order. I got the complete wrong item ordered when the app showed me the correct one. At least the locations are accurate.
Does not work
this app does not work, it is not user-friendly, I just will not order coffee because it is so hard and irritating to use
Not practical
In order to just simply get into the app, you have to first put a location you will pick up order at. Not practical if you don’t want to order ahead or if you just want to see how many points you have or look ahead at menu. I just wanted to see where I was with points and couldn’t bc it was after 6pm and all stores were close so you couldn’t access til the next day when the store was open. Silly

Bug in the app
Every time you try to sign in the confirm your store location pops up. Super annoying and probably losing you customers, Philz! C’mon dev team get on it!!
Can’t access history
This app lost all this good features. Someone being in pharmaceutical sales doesn’t always save receipts and realize on the app for backup, but I can’t access anything.
Terrible App
App keeps glitching. It keeps saying “let’s find a store near you.” I pic a store, try to log in and it just stops the log in process and takes me to the “find a store near you” page. Ridiculous. Like how.

The app stopped working . Deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times but still not working. It’s been about 4 days . When it was working it was ok.
Updating my review. It wasn’t working due to having NORD VPN running. Once I turned it off it started working.

Reordering is annoying
Whoever built this app needs to look at its flow. If I try to re-order the same drink, I have gotten the previous time it takes more time scrolling through all the promo Then it does to just make a new order.

Great ordering but no access to account
UPDATE MAY 2026: the developer took my feedback and fixed it! Now I can access account info and past orders etc from the app no matter what time of day I happen to be looking for it and whether or not a store is closed. :-)
ORIGINAL CRITIQUE: Not sure why but in the latest March 2026 version of the app, the only thing you can do when you open the app is to try to find the nearest store and then place an order. If it is at night time and none of these stores are open, You cannot do anything else at all with the app: You can’t look for your account information, try to view a generic store menu, update credit card, see recent purchases or anything… Literally the only thing you can do when you open the app is look for the nearest store. It’s actually kind of frustrating from the account user perspective. While the ordering of the drinks is very easy, they need to fix this because sometimes people need to access their account information using the mobile app.

App is lacking
Ordering is usually okay, but there are often glitches when selecting a location (i have to force restart the app to get back to the order screen) and unable to leave feedback or comments in the feedback/report a problem section. I have had issues with my orders that last several pick ups and would like to let someone know but unable to do so unless I randomly get prompted to leave feedback for a previous order. Often days later.

Shameful Company
Removing the Pride flags tells everyone exactly who Philz Coffee really is: performative, cowardly, and completely out of touch. They were happy to profit off inclusivity until it required even the smallest amount of backbone. Embarrassing leadership, mediocre coffee, and zero principles. Easy business to stop supporting.

Completely unnecessary gesture to remove flags from your stores that have been there forever, returning them is too little too late. I will never reinstall this.
