Pointless

Call me naïve, but I thought as the app has a timer to countdown to when the filter needs changing, it would do something to let me know when the day had arrived. Zilch, nothing, dim! Only when you open the app do you find out that you’re overdue, and you can’t even tell by how much! Will go back to my wall calendar!

Unable to login to my account!

In June I returned to using Phox filter after a few years not using it. Now find I can’t log into my account it says password invalid….sent email address for link to change my password but no link sent! Then tried to re register ….says email already in use, grrr! ( I know it’s mine!)
I registered for email reminders to change filter that doesn’t happen either.
Such a shame as the filter is brilliant and the App worked really well when I first signed up in 2020!

No notifications

This app needs to be able to send notifications via in phone, email or text to let you know when to change the filter

Going back to brita

The app inconsistently lets me know when to change the filter annoyingly! At least with brita it’s a straightforward system on jug itself! Pointless app and all it has to do is remind you when to change the filter business must ve too good for them as they don’t seem fussed to fix it

It was good.

This was a good app, and when I had a problem with re-ordering the company were very good indeed. Unfortunately lately it has stopped sending me notifications when my filter needs changing. This has happened several times at least. I’ve checked my notification settings on the phone and they are ok. Remembering to my filter contents is not top on my to do list, especially as that’s what the app is for.

Doesn’t work

This app sends you in circles. The most ridiculous app I have ever dealt with. Ana in Customer service was very helpful and got back to me very quickly. Thanks

Why do I need an account

It’s just a timer app to tell you when to change your filter. Why do you need to register an account. Rubbish.

Pointless

This app is useless. Notifications don’t work so I never know when my filter needs changing. It’s been like this for well over a year and while I’ve waited pat into for them to give a damn, I’ve lost patience now so I’m looking into an alternative

Pitiful app

This app has one job. To remind you when to change the filter. It signs you out and doesn’t work. The other reviews show that this is not a new problem. That’s says a lot about their approach to customer service. I’ve cancelled my filter subscription and bought the materials elsewhere. If you google Phox filter replacements you’ll find better and cheaper alternatives from a business that does listen to their customers.

Rubbish app

App is rubbish, can’t get in to see reminders. No help available. So will delete app and look for different supplier.

Cannot access

Stuck in a loop of trying to sign in even tried changing password but still stuck on sign in screen.

Super buggy

The app is not great. Constantly logs me out, doesn’t send reminders when I set it up to, and now currently will not recognise my password despite resetting it multiple times. Terrible app. (Product is good though, would still purchase regardless of app. Just would be better with useful app!!)

Not working

The app was brilliant for a few years but for the last 6 months or so I cannot get it to work. It refuses to log me in or send me a password update.

What? No reminder?

I used to get the timely reminders in the run up to needed to refresh my filter. Now I don’t. I see other people are. I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it. But no. Looks different. It still no timely reminders.

It does notify, but that’s all it does

The notification to replace the filter is finally working consistently! I feel like the one thing missing from this app is the instructions on how to replace the filter, it only needs to be replaced every 45 days so I never remember if I’m supposed to soak or rinse the filter or whatever to prep it. I always end up having to go to the website and searching for the instructions, it just seems like an easy and helpful thing to put in the app so I don’t have to dig for the information every time.

A bit pointless.

If the app sent notifications when to replace the medium, it would be great, but it doesn’t. So it’s a bit pointless. If they fixed this it would be great.

You don’t need this app (UPDATE)

(EDITED): Since writing this review Phox has given the app a complete overhaul and it appears to now work as intended. Therefore I have updated my review. While this app is not essential (you can still just make your own reminders) it’s only fair to rate it for the job it does well and I do find it very helpful now. Thank you!

I can’t login

I can’t login and can’t reset the password.
The login details work on the website but the app doesn’t recognise them

Newest update is not so great

The older version had a better visual experience than the newest version. I only have one Phox filter in my household and don’t expect needing a second one at the same time. The lifetime of the filter now is shown as a list and no longer in a circle format, which was way better.

Suggestion: only show the list form if multiple filters are added to the app.

Requires Account

Why does an app for a water filter jug which has a single purpose to remind you when your filter needs changing require an account? Personal details should not be required for this.
