Corbin Jones is the best teacher you’ll find! This app is perfect for new and old players alike. I took a 12 year break from playing music live and needed something to get me back into shape. Not only did this app help brush off the dust, I actually feel like I’m better now than I was. Worth the money.

I gave this app another try and it turns out the confusion I first experienced was all me. This is what I have been missing in my learning experience.
Really cool
It helps you feel like your building and growing instead of just learning bits and pieces of your favorite songs. I like it a lot actually. It is worth the money.

I think this app is fantastic! I’ve been playing for over a decade and the coaches still all provide really great tips and feedback and the videos are super top quality. I’m loving it and that I’m learning new stuff in what feels like years!

Super helpful
Love pickup music. The subscription is a little pricey but compared to in person lessons it’s cheap and the results are undeniable. Leave your guitar out so you can grab it and do a quick jam and you’ll progress.

Self taught Guitar blessing
This app is the perfect solution to lost people teaching themselves how to play guitar online. This allows you to have direction within learning and cover all the little things you may have missed while self training yourself. This so so awesome!!

Good content made infuriating by app design
I’ve been playing for a long time on and off but have never put in time to understand what I’m doing properly. Trying to change that now.
The content on Pickup seems good for that but there are some incredibly infuriating design choices on the app that make using it really difficult.
They need to hire a UX designer fast. No matter how good the content is havibg multiple lesson videos playing simultaneously or the unpredictable controls to get the tabs to show make it a real pain to work with.

Confusing from the start
Maybe some people can learn from this app but this is definitely not for me. It’s literally the most confusing explanation of the CAGED system I’ve ever seen. I feel there is just so much left out..
Best online program
I’ve tried many online programs, this is the only one that Keeps me having fun every single class. Love it and highly recommended it!

App can be better, but courses are great
I have improved my skills since signing up. It motivates me to practice more and more importantly, gives me songs and techniques to work on. The app can be better though. Especially exercise page. I don’t like how they organize the exercise page, where I often tab the wrong place and jump to different places of the video. In addition, once I hide the video to check on the sheet music, I can never get the video back, unless closing and relaunching the exercise page.
