I love how easy this is to use on the go when I’m not near my computer at home.
NEED ACCESS TO GALLERY
Been using pixieset for our website and the portrait side of the business and it’s been great. The app is convenient but I don’t like that you don’t have access to the gallery and other stuff.
Best studio manager
Have enjoyed using this studio manager ever since I got it. A lot of great features
Good But…
I like it but I think it needs to let us attach files (such as photos or pdf) in the app when replying to inbox messages so I can send out my pricing guides or other documents directly to clients instead of having yo log into the PC
Runs my whole studio from my pocket
Booking, invoices, and contracts all live in one place, so I’m not juggling three apps between shoots. Being able to check a session, send an invoice, and get a contract signed from my phone has saved me a lot of back-and-forth. Clean interface and it just works.

I like Acuity much better
I used Acuity for years but decided to switch to Pixieset since I used them for my gallery delivery and website but this transition has not been easy. I’ve had many successful transactions go through and still don’t have access to use the Instant Payout feature. The calendar, projects and sessions are organized messier than acuity. I have to use an integrated Google calendar to print the actual calendar and it’s not as seamless as Acuity when referencing questionnaires and viewing appointment info. I end up having to open up studio manager in several tabs on my laptop to be able to easily see everything. It’s just not as simply organized as Acuity. So much so that I’ve continued to pay Acuity’s monthly fee because I’ve wanted to go back to them. I’ve hoped I would feel better about studio manager but the non-access to instant payouts is getting annoying when I’ve been in business for over 8 years and the messy layout is annoying me too

This app is a life saver
I love that I can send contracts using my templates, book sessions everything I use for the studio manager is easy here.
I wish you could see your galleries. But I know that would be a lot of data and stuff so I understand. But I have no complaints with this app.

No Acess to galleries
You download the app and still have to open the browser to acess the galleries, dosnt make sense

The Pixieset – Studio Manager App is focused on workflows like bookings, invoices, and projects specifically. A dedicated Client Gallery app is currently in the works—keep an eye out for updates! For now, galleries can be created and shared using any mobile browser.

1/23/26 update: still loving the pixieset app! I don’t know how I lived before it, honestly. Coming on here to add that I desperately need my locations to be able to save so that when I’m creating a new project or session, I have a drop-down of my frequently used locations! This would save me from having to type addresses in all the time. Thank you pixieset for always being so responsive to feedback!

Not Available on my brand new Ipad.
I only bought n Ipad because the Pixieset mobile is so hard to navgate ad create a website without a “desktop” I figured, “let me buy an Ipad so I can create a website and really MAXIMIZE my business.” Come to find out, I cant download the app on my brand new ipad. How frustrating.
