Used to be so much better
The recent Plume Home redesign has made basic parental controls dramatically harder to use. I used to be able to easily manage my children’s internet access and schedules. Now I have to navigate through multiple unintuitive screens just to locate a profile or determine whether a Focus is active.
Even worse, the app shows devices as “Focused,” “Online,” “Timeout,” etc. without clearly explaining what those states mean or whether a Focus is actually blocking internet access. Basic information about an unknown device is also buried or unavailable—the three-dot menu lets me rename it or change its type, but doesn’t even show me the information I need to identify it.
This isn’t an advanced networking use case. A parent should be able to open the app, select a child, see their devices, and immediately set something as simple as “No internet from 9 PM to 7 AM.”
The previous version was significantly easier to use. Please prioritize usability and reduce the number of steps required for profiles, Focus schedules, device identification, and parental controls.

Bad Update
I liked this app because it allowed me to manage my devices seperately and boost the device we are using the most for the moment. This update ruined it. I can only focus, not boost. And focus kicks all other devices off the wifi?? My options are now slower internet across all devices, or great internet on a few and none on all the others. This update made the app difficult to navigate and took away key features that made the app convenient to have.

Terrible Update
The new update hides the focus page. I could just click focus. Now there are extra steps. Taking options away is never a good update. Forced to use this app no other choice. Looking into a router to bridge this piece.
Why worse?
I will keep it at one star until I can create a group outside of profiles to control. I don’t want my kids advices in group without it also being under their own profiles. Also , why make things harder to get to or require more buttons to push to get there? Takes longer to get to profiles and I can’t even find where to group different things to make a focus. I had it all set up and now I need to change it but…Can we make things easier not harder please!

Timeout appears to mean time until access runs out, not off then time to get back on

I swear this app updates and changes the user interface every 6 months it seems. Very frustrating to have to essentially learn a new app every 6 months.

Quite legitimately I god dayum understand that my god dayum modem has been claimed — it was claimed by me you brainless jaggoffs. That should link me in, you have my dayum email, you have my dayum location, you have my dayum phone id, you have the modem serial number.

Back when I first got right fiber there wasn’t much of anything you could do in the plume app so I gave up. Someone recently showed me it’s been upgraded. But when I login it puts into setup mode with no way to get out of it. What kind of junk is this. It’s not like my phone doesn’t take regular updates, but this app doesn’t update?? Technology blows anymore, all the freaking security, it’s gotten so frustrating that I don’t care to use it! And now every time I go to login the app doesn’t use my saved password, instead I have to enter my email and then verify the same email over and over 😡

Hi, since long time ago someone has been using my app with my credentials in an account that seems is illegal. My internet provider said they do not have another account around my house, but several times someone has changed my password in the app. My ISP said they cannot know if someone else downloaded the app, and is using it. I am the only person who is suppose to have the app in just one device. Who can tell me that information? Who is responsible for my privacy and security when others can be using this app? I have been warning you since more than a year, and the problem persist.

Useless app
Internet randomly craps out and this app is of zero help.
Broken app
Since the v26.213.0 update, the app is broken. Speed test quits at 75% and hasn't run completely since 5/13. Other issues too numerous to report as well with the app.
