Rewards are lousy
For the amount of times I’ve ordered from Pollo Tropical I should have been given an award yet the point system is lack luster and ordering for pick up from the drive thru is ridiculous. They can’t accommodate you even if you have Covid and going inside is not an option! Right now the place is making me go in a circle in their drive thru line because they can’t take my receipt and prepare my order. I drove out of my way just to fine one with a drive thru, I should have just gone inside and coughed on everyone!

Can’t get it right
Requested Guava barbecue sauce and received salsa? This is my second order in weeks and both times not correct.
Issue with tropi chop
I can’t use the app when ordering a tropi chop. I have tried emailing pollo trop to fix this issue. When you order a tropi chop and add to cart, it only says rice and chicken. So the employees don’t put beans. This has happened twice to me. The description says rice beans and choice of meat. But in the cart and even on all the receipts, only says rice and chicken. There’s no way of adding the beans. Please fix this.

Don’t bother buying gift cards
The app takes forever to communicate with the restaurant. I loaded two gift cards to the app and had to order online and they haven’t even gotten my order yet. I wish they made it easier to use

Like a home cooked meal
I absolutely love Pollo Tropical. It’s my go to when I’m busy and on the go. Better than actual fast food stops. It makes me feel like I am eating a fresh home cooked meal.

Trio order
The last two time I have ordered they have less and less food, no pork at all no only one small chicken wing and three little pieces of steak. This used to be my fav place now it’s just a no.
Wrong Order received AGAIN
Not sure why I didn’t tell my pick up person exactly what I ordered because once again I received an order that was NOT mine. I am missing 3 tropichillers a kids meal, an extra order of mojo roast pork and my all dark meat family meal. I got a regular chicken family meal with plantains! I’m sure whoever got my order got lucky! I love pollo tropical but I cannot rely on their accuracy two thumbs down too many pollos in the area… I’ll have to drive farther but you guys have seen the end of my weekly $75 visits.

Nos venden algo llamado sopa de pollo y ni un pedacito de pollo contiene. Mejor cámbienle el nombre a sopa de verduras y vegetales sino le van a añadir suficiente pollo al caldero para rendirle a todos!! Que gran engaño!!

Can’t earn rewards with this app, it always says 0.00 and when I do order they ALWAYS forget something in my order

Online ordering is horrible. Wont let you apply coupons and stores are always worthless. Whats the point of rewards points if y can’t use them
Poor customer service
I ordered off the app for delivery and I chose a wrong topping and I couldn’t cancel my order and when I tried to call pollo tropical the machine hung up and I never heard anything back from the delivery team when I asked them to kindly request the right topping I wanted but I couldn’t reach out because everything took unnecessary delay due to pollos poor customer service

The West Kendall store at 162 Ave and 88th st always missing items. Bad service
Never ready
No matter how far in advance the online order is placed, IRS never ready by the pick up time. Ten minutes later and I’m still waiting. It’s not the employees, but understaffed.
Rewards doesn’t work
Rewards on cart doesn’t work. Error message “There was an error retrieving your loyalty card”. Also the cart cannot be retrieved if you exit momentarily.
