Plan the trip. Keep what was worth it. Everyone plans a holiday twice. Once in the weeks before, out of half-remembered recommendations — and once more, years later, trying to recall whether that temple was the one worth getting up at six for or the one that was a queue with a view. Postcard is built for the second time. A DAY AT A TIME Every day of the trip is on one screen, empty ones included — the gaps are usually why you opened the app. Each place sits in the morning, the afternoon or the evening, because that is the resolution a plan made six weeks out actually has. IDEAS, FOR THE THINGS WITH NO DATE YET Somewhere recommended in a pub is not something you have a date for. Write it down anyway, and swipe it onto a day when you decide — or never, which is also fine. THREE ANSWERS, NOT FIVE STARS Loved it. Fine. Skip it. The only question that survives a year is whether you would send someone there again, so those are the buttons. THE LINE YOU WOULD TELL YOURSELF "Get there before 7am — past the first twenty minutes of gates there is nobody at all." That sentence is the whole app. GOING BACK Type a destination you have been to and the new-trip form stops being a form. Everywhere you loved is listed under it, with what you wrote at the time and a + on each one. What comes across is the description and the advice — never the day, the tick or the verdict, so a fresh plan never arrives already ticked off. ONE ENTRY PER PLACE, REMEMBERED AT ITS BEST Somewhere you went on two trips is one line, keeping the best thing you ever said about it. A place you loved in 2024 and had a mediocre lunch at in 2026 is still a place you loved. WARNINGS KEPT SEPARATE The places you marked "skip it" stay well away from the recommendations. A list of good places with a dud in the middle is worse than no list. EVERYWHERE YOU HAVE BEEN A second tab holds every place from every finished trip, grouped by destination and searchable by name, by city, or by anything you wrote afterwards. SMALL THINGS THAT MATTER ON THE GROUND More than four things on one day gets flagged, before you are standing somewhere at 4pm with three of them left. Shortening a trip moves places back to Ideas rather than losing them with the days. And "Japan" and "japan" are the same place, as are "São Paulo" and "sao paulo", so a destination typed in a hurry still finds the trip you took years ago. NO ACCOUNT, AND NO NETWORK No sign-in, no password, no email. The app makes no network requests at all — your trips are a database on your iPhone and they stay there. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is analysed, and there is nothing to opt out of.
