I had 4 artist cancel on me, even on the day of my event!!! So buyer beware.

To be honest, the makeup was subpar I paid such an expensive price for I can honestly do my foundation much better apply eyeliner more seamlessly than the makeup artist. I don’t understand this was not worth it.

I booked services a month in advance. Get a notice 36 hours before appointment that there a problem with my payment. Ok. I see it’s an old card. Deleted and added new. Still getting denied. Email customer service who tell me all is good. Nope! Wake up to date of appointment to find out they are cancelled. What a waste of an app. Deleted off my phone.

No shows are a problem
The biggest issue with Priv is that the ratings of the stylists/artists only incorporate the ones that were completed. If a person no shows (which has happened to me 2 out of 3 times), you are not allowed to pity hat feedback in their review bc the work was never “completed “. Therefore, people can no show or cancel at the last minute and keep their 5 star rating. Because of this and my experience with no shows particularly on this app, I’d be weary of using them for times when you really must have someone show up. They can be unreliable and there are no checks and balances to manage this in the system. Or a way for you, as the customer to know if you are choosing someone who no shows a lot or if you are getting a reliable person. I was told by priv they handle no shows behind the scenes which is probably bc they do not want those negative reviews in public.

This was a wonderful from scheduling the appointment. My therapist was highly experienced and had me relaxed with his soothing massage complete with aromatherapy. I would recommend this service to my friends and family

Amazing first time experience with Priv
I couldn’t have asked for a better first time glam app experience than what I had today. Keaira on time, professional, and had creative ideas for my glam. The airbrush was flawless and lasted all day. I’m very pleased and would definitely do this again.
